Kardashian West started dating West in 2012. The pair stayed friends for years while dating other people. However, they reconnected after Kardashian West filed for divorce from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage. During their relationship, West elevated Kardashian’s style and showered her with massive gifts. One of the rapper’s most extravagant purchases for his wife was a hologram of Kardashian West’s father, the late Robert Kardashian, Sr.
Although Kardashian West often shared photos of her and West on social media, rumors began to swirl in 2020 that the couple was in trouble. According to Page Six, they live separate lives and have been since the COVID-19 pandemic started in March 2020. Kardashian West allegedly reached out to divorce attorney Laura Wasser.
“This divorce is happening because Kim has grown up a lot,” a source said. “She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer; she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile, Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy sh*t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Since their divorce rumors, Kardashian West has turned multiple heads online. The mother of four posted several Instagram photos without her wedding ring. However, she recently put it back on in various posts.
Although Kardashian West hasn’t spoken about her marriage publicly, a source told Page Six that the divorce would play out on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The show discusses the Kardashian family’s personal lives, and their final season reportedly won’t be any different.
“The Kardashians intend to go out with a bang,” the source shared. “They’ve filmed Kim discussing her marriage problems. But everybody involved is on a nondisclosure agreement because the finale won’t screen until later in 2021.”

Kardashian West’s transparency reportedly won’t bother West. While KUWTK was allegedly a significant issue in their marriage, West reportedly respects his wife’s job. A source claimed that West is “sick” of Kardashian and her TV empire.
“In reality, he’s been sick of being involved with [the] Kardashians for a long while,” the source said. “Especially her mother, who looms large in all big decisions she makes.”
“He is quite familiar with what the Kardashian public relations machine is capable of and thinks it’s funny that her team is blaming his presidential run on the marriage disintegration.”
