‘KUWTK’: Why You Won’t See Kris Jenner’s Real House Appear on the Show Anymore

The Kardashian Jenner homes are all iconic. Each member of the family has her own unique style, and that style seeps in to their houses as well. Their multimillion dollar mansions serve as a backdrop for their show. Keeping Up with the Kardashians is entering its 18th season, and fans have gotten to know the Kardashian Jenner homes very well. 

It’s not just on the show that fans can catch glimpses of the Kardashian households. They show off their living quarters in other forums as well. Kim showed off a lot of her house in a Vogue interview.

Both Kim and Kris Jenner’s home has been featured in Architectural Digest. But fans have noticed something strange going on with the Kar-Jen matriarch. Her house doesn’t seem to be shown on the show as much anymore. 

Kris Jenner’s house is ‘iconic’

Fans have grown accustomed to seeing the Kardashian Jenner sisters in their mom’s house. They’ve noticed that scenes from the momager’s residence seem to have become scarce in the last few seasons. The show does film outside Kris’ house, but they don’t go inside as often as in earlier seasons. 

Some fans think part of the reason that Kris doesn’t show off her house anymore is because she moved to a more modern home, and it wasn’t as recognizable as her previous house. She had a distinct white and black checkered entryway in her old home, but the new one isn’t as notable for fans of the show. 

Her old house still appears on the show, but it seems to fans like it might be a stage house now. The Kar-Jenners film there because it is recognizable to fans, but Kris doesn’t live there anymore.

There are rumors that Rob stays there sometimes, or that the film crew uses it as a kind of crash pad, but nothing has been confirmed by the Kardashians. 

Is Kris Jenner tired of filming for ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’?

Whatever the reason Kris has decided not to show off her home, it’s not because she wants to keep people out of it completely. She invited Architectural Digest in for a tour of the new house after she bought it.

So why doesn’t the house appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians? Some fans think it’s because she is tired of filming for the show. 

Kourtney Kardashian decided she was going to take a step back from filming for KUWTK after this season. During a heart to heart, Kris mentioned that Kim and Khloe are also upset that she won’t film as much for the show as she used to. Kourtney decided she needs privacy, and she is no longer comfortable having all of her life filmed for reality TV.

It could be that Kris feels the same way. Fans think that may be the case.

Kris Jenner has been filming for ‘KUWTK’ for a long time

A lot of Kris’ life has played out on television. All of her grandchildren have been born during the show’s run, and her two youngest daughters basically grew up on TV thanks to KUWTK. Kendall and Kylie were still young when the show began filming. Kylie, Kris’ youngest child, was only 10 years old when the show began in 2007. 

Fans suspect that, like Kourtney, Kris is tired of filming for KUWTK. However, Kim and Khloe aren’t attacking her the way they did Kourtney when she tried to cut back on filming.

Recently, the show aired an actual physical fight between Kim and her older sister Kourtney over the show. Khloe and Kim may not put as much pressure on their mother, perhaps out of respect.
