Kylie Jenner hasn’t exactly been able to keep a low profile since the start of 2020. Following the whirlwind sale of her beauty empire, Kylie Beauty, and sharing her lavish Christmas gifts and decorations with her fans — everything seems like business as usual in Jenner’s world.
However, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is certainly feeling the heat of the spotlight these days. With so much going on in the world including tensions with Iran, the Australian wildfires, and the continuing tensions with our current administration at home, many fans of Jenner are not amused by her lackadaisical response to world events.
In fact, the starlet is currently being dragged for her response to the Australian wildfires.

The globe is currently in crisis, but for Jenner — it’s just another day. She’s posted a series of new photos of herself sporting a banana yellow wig. Also, she was just embroiled in a bit of controversy when shared a photo of herself wearing blond twists — a style that Black women typically rock as a protective style.
As soon as the Jenner posted the look, which was allegedly inspired by, “Gwen Stefani,” fans clapped back and brought up the KUWTK star’s history of cultural appropriation. One Twitter user explained, “My ppl are still losing jobs and viewed as ‘ghetto’ for protective hairstyles, while most white ppl see it as fashion.” Though she did not acknowledge the backlash, Jenner obviously heard it because she quickly took the photo down.
However, this tone-deaf post brought up Jenner’s silence about global topics including the devastating Australian wildfires.

Though we’re not sure what the 22-year-old billionaire has done or donated behind the scenes, KarJenner fans are not amused by her silence. One fan wrote, “Australia is literally burning to the ground and all she cares about is which color she’s going to dye her hair next. If she loved her kid she’d actually do something about it because her daughter is going to have to suffer through this not her.”
Another fan suggested a way that Jenner could get involved, “did you know that close to a BILLION animals have died in the aus fires? Hello. As you may know, fires in Australia have reached a peak. To be clear, Jenner can do what she wants with her money, but we must admit, the optics don’t look great when it comes to her silence.
