This Is The Real Reason Kylie Jenner Is Such A Homebody
Kylie Jenner is much more than a reality star. She might have used her family’s show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians and the Kardashian x Jenner names to begin her career, but since she’s been an adult, Jenner has carved out her own name and space for herself in the entertainment and cosmetics industries.
After launching a handful of Lip Kits back in 2015 — Jenner has grown her business into a billionaire empire, Kylie Beauty. Her line includes much more than lip kits. She now has an extensive skincare line — Kylie Skin, and a ton of different makeup products. With a slew of trademarks pending, we know she has much more up her sleeve.
Still, being one of the youngest billionaires on the planet doesn’t mean Jenner is out and about all of the time. Though she’s very close to her family and her tight-knit group of friends. Jenner prefers to stay home with her daughter, Stormi.
Kylie Jenner is a very hands-on mom
Though she never revealed she was pregnant with Stormi until after she gave birth on February 1, 2018 –since then, Jenner’s social media timelines have been filled with Stormi. From sharing her daughter’s favorite foods to Stormi discovering Jenner’s first name — we often see the adorable cutie interacting with her mom. The obsession is mutual.
In fact, though she and Stormi’s dad — rapper Travis Scott are no longer in a romantic relationship, they are still 100% committed to co-parenting their daughter. “We have such a great relationship,” Jenner told Harper’s BAZAAR. “We’re like best friends. We both love Stormi and want what’s best for her. We stay connected and coordinated. I think about [my parents] in situations with Stormi, what they would do. They were very hands-on with me, and I want the same for Stormi.”
For Jenner, being hands-on means also shielding Stormi from the outside world as much as possible. Therefore she spends plenty of time with her at home and is always there for her meals and bedtime.

Though she has the world at her feet, Jenner actually doesn’t get out much. In fact, when she went to Italy for her 22nd birthday in August 2019 it was the first time she went to Europe for pleasure. Jenner revealed that her homebody tendencies were brought on when she was hiding her pregnancy.
“After I got pregnant, I spent so much time at home, I love it,” she revealed to Harper’s BAZAAR. “I love to lie in my bed and watch movies and forget about the world. Sometimes I take some time off, let the nannies take days off, and hang out at home with Stormi.”
In fact, being at home is the reason Jenner isn’t at every event or even her brother-in-law’s Sunday Services each weekend. “The reason I don’t go more often is that it starts at 9 a.m. on a Sunday, and if I’m not working that’s not a time I like to be out,” she revealed.
Kylie Jenner’s homebody tendencies caused a rift between herself and Travis Scott
While Jenner likes to be cozy in the privacy of her own home, Scott loves being out and about.
“Travis was getting antsy not going out more now that Stormi is older and he wanted to live the life he has afforded himself and be out and about more,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “Though Kylie is young and wants to go out herself, she is also a wonderful mother and wants to live her life as a family. [Kylie] doesn’t like Travis not wanting to be there more often doing the family thing and that was one of the initial strains that brought upon the breakup.”
It looks like the pair have different desires right now.
