Keeping Up with the Kardashians has given us some iconic moments over the years, but nothing will ever be able to top the time Kim Kardashian West lost one of her diamond earrings while on vacation in Bora Bora.

Though it was a heartbreaking moment for Kardashian, many of us got a kick out of seeing the reality star hysterically cry over her $75,000 stud and sister, Kourtney Kardashian, slamming her for it.

With all the crying and clap backs taking place, it took us a while to realize that Kylie Jenner actually found the earring, saving the day with her heroic act.

Jenner previously explained how she found the earring in the water

Even if you’re not a die-hard Kardashian fan, you probably still remember that ICONIC moment Kardashian West lost her diamond earring in the ocean.

Here’s a little refresher just in case you need one.

In 2011, the KKW mogul, her then-husband, Kris Humphries, and the rest of the KarJenner clan traveled to Bora Bora for their annual family vacation.

Though the trip started out smoothly, it soon took a turn when Humphries jokingly threw Kardashian in the ocean, causing her to lose her $75,000 diamond earring.

As Humphries and Jenner look around for the earring, Kardashian hysterically cries to Kris Jenner, who reassures her that everything’s going to be okay.

While Kardashian and Jenner are making their way back to the area they believe the earring’s in, Kourtney Kardashian delivers the most iconic line ever said on the show: “Kim, there’s people that are dying.”

As Kardashian continued to cry over her earring, the youngest Jenner sibling kept looking for the stud which she soon finds, ultimately saving the day.

So, how exactly was Jenner able to find Kardashian’s earring in the ocean?

It turns out that it was a lot easier than you’d think.

During a 2017 interview with Buzzfeed (and puppies!), Jenner opened up about how she became the hero of the day and saved her sister’s diamond earring.

“It was pretty deep, but there [weren’t] a lot of waves and Kim kind of, like, threw a tantrum immediately when she found out that she lost it and I was like, ‘No. This is fine!'” Jenner said. “I went under there and it was saltwater so it kind of hurt to open my eyes, but I just opened my eyes and looked around and I saw something shining. Swam all the way down there — it was, like, 10 feet — picked it up, and it was the shining diamond! I literally found it in two minutes.”

Finding diamonds underwater could be Jenner’s future career

After recovering the precious diamond earring, Jenner ran it up to her hysterical sister, who wiped away her tears once she saw her missing jewelry piece.

“Then [Kim] was like, ‘You know, I don’t have my backing but it’s fine. I can always get that.’ And I was like, I’m just gonna look! So I went back down and I found the backing. I found the earring backing! She was like, “You are just…”

After sharing her Mission Impossible-esque story, Jenner’s former BFF, Jordyn Woods — who was also in the video — was convinced the makeup mogul had a bright future in finding diamonds underwater.

“Future career, I’m telling you,” the model chimed in.

“Diamond finder!” Jenner proposed at the same time Woods suggested “dive team!”

And they say the Kardashian-Jenners are talentless.
