Kylie Jenner is opening up about daughter Stormi’s food allergy.

The 22-year-old founder of Kylie Cosmetics who reached billionaire status in 2019, welcomed Stormi on Feb. 1, 2018, with rapper Travis Scott, her then-boyfriend. Jenner and Scott kept the news they were expecting a child together under wraps for the duration of Jenner’s pregnancy although fans guessed as much.

The couple split in Oct. 2019 after dating for two-and-a-half years but fans now believe Scott and Jenner have reunited although the two haven’t confirmed anything publicly.

Stormi hospitalized in 2019 following allergic reaction

In June 2019, Jenner had to rush Stormi to the hospital but didn’t divulge the specifics of the emergency room visit. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Jenner told fans Stormi had been hospitalized following an allergic reaction but didn’t say to what exactly. “Spent the day in the hospital with my baby. She had an allergic reaction but is 100% okay now and we are home,” she wrote.

Jenner continued, saying, “Nothing else matters when these things happen. God bless all the moms with sick babies. I’m sending so much love and positive energy your way.”

Fans didn’t learn details of then-1-year-old Stormi’s “allergic reaction” but in an interview in Feb. 2020, Jenner opened up about her daughter’s food allergy to peanuts that likely accounted for her 2019 hospitalization.

Kylie Jenner: ‘We are a peanut-free household because Stormi is allergic’

In a Feb. 4 YouTube video for Harper’s Bazaar about what she eats in a day, Jenner shared she doesn’t keep food containing nuts in her house because her daughter’s allergic.

“We are a peanut-free household because Stormi is allergic. All nuts actually not just peanuts,” Jenner said in the video. That means no jars of peanut butter, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or any other foods containing nuts occupy space in Jenner’s house.

Stormi isn’t only Kardashian-Jenner kid with food allergies

Jenner isn’t the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner family who has had to purge their homes of specific food items to keep their kids’ food allergies in check. During an interview with Refinery29 in April 2019, Kris Jenner, the matriarch of Kardashian-Jenner family, explained the most memorable late-night call she’d ever received from one of her kids.

“The first one I ever got was the most alarming,” Kris said recalling when her grandson, Mason, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s oldest child, had to go to the hospital following a bad reaction to peanut butter. “It was when Mason ate peanut butter and his face started blowing up and his throat started closing. They had to rush him to the hospital.”

She continued, saying, “He had a peanut butter allergy for the longest time” but  is “fine now.”

The family had another allergy scare with Saint West, Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West’s 4-year-old son.

“The most recent one that comes to mind is a week ago or so when we went to Palm Springs and Saint, my little grandson, we discovered he might be allergic to grass,” Kris said. “We ended up in the E.R., but all is well — we figured it out.”
