After an embarrassing few weeks concerning her business and the actual status of her net worth, Kylie Jenner is officially back to work. The makeup mogul was taken by surprise when Forbes released a scathing report about her company’s financials accusing her of submitting false documents to fabricate her billionaire status.

Though the 22-year-old and her momager, Kris Jenner have denied any wrongdoing,  “Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web Of Lies — And Why She’s No Longer a Billionaire,” certainly caught them off guard. However, as California gets back to work, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians starlet is eager to put it behind her.

Jenner has recruited her supermodel big sister, Kendall Jenner for the new collab, Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics. Though the line will not debut until June 26, it’s already receiving criticism from fans.

Kylie Jenner is still reeling from Forbes’ accusations

Though Jenner has seemingly moved on from the embarrassing Forbes article publically, writing it off as nonsense and unproven accusations, in private she’s still feeling a ton of anguished about it. “I can name a list of 100 things more important right now than fixating on how much money I have,” she tweeted shortly after the article was published.

Forbes claimed that the makeup mogul’s business is “significantly smaller and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.” They also dragged the entire KarJenner clan for being money and famed obsessed. “Of course, white lies, omissions and outright fabrications are to be expected from the family that perfected – then monetized – the concept of ‘famous for being famous’,” the article said. “But, similar to Donald Trump’s decades-long obsession with his net worth, the unusual lengths to which the Jenners have been willing to go … reveals just how desperate some of the ultra-rich are to look even richer.”

Apparently, Jenner has not spoken to her mother as a result of all of this, and her company is currently under investigation. “Kris—who reportedly gets ten percent of Kylie’s deals–is in panic mode,” a source told The Sun. “Kylie won’t answer the phone for Kris and is at a loss over who to trust. Kris is petrified Kylie could sack her or cut her off so tensions are at an all-time high. Kris and Kylie are freaking out and fear that this is going to hurt their brand, and even worse, they could be in trouble with the government.”

Inside the KENDALL X KYLIE collection

Despite what’s going on in the background, Jenner is focused on moving forward. This includes her new collab with her sister, Kendall Jenner. The Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics collection will launch June 26 and it’s full of goodies.

The line includes a shimmery gold eye gloss, three face sticks to contour, bronzer, blush, and highlight in Kendall’s shades for a supermodel look, a blotting powder, an eyeshadow palette,  a Lip Blush, and matching liner called “Sister Sister,” and a new super juicy High Gloss. A portion of the proceeds from the line will go to “defending the rights and voices of Black trans people in honor of Pride Month.”

This is why fans are dragging the Kendall by Kylie Cosmetics eyeshadow palette

Though the long-awaited KENDALL X KYLIE is finally here, some fans are less than impressed by the eyeshadow palette in particular. The palette includes the neutral brown and taupe shades that Kendall is known for. However, it also includes a ton of bright bold shimmery colors.

“But Kylie nor kendall never wear half of these colors,” one fan said. And another commented: “Love the colors but feel it’s not very Kendall, spread the love tho it’s cute.”

Kylie also clapped back at fans for saying this collection was not Kendall at all by saying, “Kendall loves to play with colors on her eyes so we made sure to add her favorites to the palette. She also included a slew of photos of herself and Kendall wearing the shadows.
