Kendall and Kylie Jenner got their start on their family’s reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The show began in 2007 when the Jenner sisters were just little girls. A lot has changed for the KarJenner family since KUWTK first debuted.

These days Kendall Jenner is one of the most sought after models in the fashion world. In fact, she’s often away from her family and the reality series, traveling across the globe, walking in various shows, and appearing in campaigns.

For her part, Kylie Jenner is now a billionaire and is building up her beauty empire with Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin. Kylie Beauty is now worth more than $1.2 billion. However, we often forget about the Jenner sisters’ company, KENDALL + KYLIE. Right now, their company is in some hot legal trouble.

Inside KENDALL + KYLIE

Kris Jenner has been brilliant in making sure her kid’s interests are diversified. Kylie has been making her money (and flaunting it) from her makeup business, Kendall has been collecting paychecks from the fashion world. However, KENDALL + KYLIE is still making the sisters money through partnerships. According to the company’s website,

KENDALL + KYLIE is a global lifestyle brand created by beloved style icons and fashion authorities, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. With a unique and  unparalleled presence across the digital landscape, Kendall and Kylie have defined themselves as two of the most popular icons and personalities of this generation. Their clothing captures the unpredictable essence of today’s young fashion lover: confident, stylish, on trend and in charge. Starting in 2012, the Jenner sisters launched a highly successful juniors collection with Pacsun, sprouting numerous follow-up seasons and an unabashedly loyal fandom. Three years later, Kendall and Kylie collaborated with Topshop to create a series of California-inspired capsule collections, exclusive to the British-born retailer.

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have been in legal trouble before

Nearly all of the KarJenners have been accused of stealing content and designs to further their brands. In 2018, Kylie and Kendall got in major hot water for using the late rappers Tupac and Biggie’s photos for their T-Shirt collection and throwing their names on it. Tupac’s photographer Michael Miller sued the sisters of an undisclosed amount and the lawsuit was settled out of court.

The T-Shirts were so offensive to the Black community and hip-hop fans, it led Biggie’s mother, Voletta Wallace, to issue a statement calling the T-Shirts, “disrespectful, disgusting, and exploitation at its worst.”

Kendall and Kylie Jenner are being sued over their underwear designs

It looks like the Jenner sisters didn’t learn their lesson. Klauber Brothers, Inc., a company that has been around for over 160 years, is now suing for copyright infringement claiming that the Jenners used copyrighted lace patterns on their underwear.

The items Klauber is taking issue with are the “Kylie Thong Panties” and the KENDALL + KYLIE slip. According to TMZ who has obtained court documents, Klauber is seeking any and all profits from both items.

The Jenner team has not responded to the lawsuit, but fans did notice the Kylie Lace Panties have been marked down from $18 to $9. This could get ugly.
