Angela reveals why she wanted Kathy Stabler dead in ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime,’ Episode 6

Throughout this season of Law & Order: Organized Crime, Elliot has been trying to find out who is responsible for his wife Kathy’s death. Early on, he believed she was mistakenly killed in an attack meant for him. But in episode 5, Bekhar (Ibrahim Renno) reveals that Angela was the one who ordered the hit.

In episode 6, Elliot arrests Angela and keeps her in a holding cell. He eventually visits her and asks why she had Kathy killed.

Angela, who has been getting close to Elliot for weeks, reveals that Richard told her the NYPD killed her son, Rafi. And believing Elliot was responsible, she asked Richard to make him suffer.

When Elliot tells her that Richard was the one who killed Rafi, she offers to cooperate with the task force. She gives them information about Richard’s obsession with a geometric shape, which they later use to secure a deal.

Some ‘Law & Order: Organized Crime’ fans aren’t buying Angela’s sudden change of heart

The whole time Angela was cozying up to Elliot and listening to his grief-riddled issues, she knew she was the one responsible for Kathy’s death. Now, after explaining her side, she’s claiming to be on Elliot’s side.

But some Law & Order: Organized Crime fans aren’t buying it. And a few think her suggestion about the geometrical shape was her way of sending a message to Richard.

“Was the use of the symbol actually a sign from Angela?” one Reddit user wondered. “Idk, I’m not buying that something more isn’t going on.”

“When he saw the symbol, to me, it seemed as if he knew the only one who could’ve told the guy about it, was Angela,” another Redditor added. “It seems as though he knew that Angela is involved/talking. Whether she’s genuinely trying to put him away or actually sending him signs/signals to help him and playing the cops, I’m not sure of. I just don’t trust her regardless.

In episode 6, Richard meets with Elliot and suggests that Angela is still in love with him despite their divorce. And some fans think he might be telling the truth.

“There’s something about the way Richard keeps calling Angela his wife,” a Reddit user shared. “Makes me wonder if maybe they aren’t really divorced so they can’t be compelled to testify against the other.”

Hopefully, before the season ends, fans will find out just where Angela stands. New episodes of  Law & Order: Organized Crime air Thursday nights on NBC.
