Legacies Season 3 is exploring Milton Greasley, aka MG, and Lizzie Saltzman’s complicated friendship. The two obviously have feelings for each other. But with their history, and the repeated emergence of Malivore monsters, the teens have yet to act on their spark.

In a recent interview, Legacies actor Quincy Fouse talked about the characters evolving dynamic this season. And The CW star revealed that there is potential for a Lizzie and MG romance.

‘Legacies’ has been teasing a Lizzie and MG love story since season 1

In the first season of Legacies, MG (Quincy Fouse) clearly has a crush on Lizzie (Jenny Boyd). However, she only considers him to be a good friend.

But he stays by her side through thick and thin. And in season 2, when she starts dating the smoldering ancient vampire Sebastian (Thomas Doherty), he remains a supportive ally.

Toward the end of the second season, MG moves on from Lizzie and starts a romance with Alyssa Chang (Olivia Liang). When Alyssa threatens to kill MG with the help of the  Necromancer (Ben Geurens), Lizzie desperately tries to save him.

But in season 3, Lizzie is starting to come around and recognize her feelings for MG. And when she tries to reveal her feelings for him, MG doesn’t seem to get the hint.

‘Legacies’ star Quincy Fouse talks about a potential Lizzie and MG romance

As Legacies Season 3 continues, Lizzie and MG will be teaming up with the Super Squad to fight more Malivore monsters. They are acting their relationship out as good friends. But according to Fouse, Lizzie and MG’s feelings could still lead to a potential romance.

“They will definitely encounter some perilous situations, but you can have faith in MG and Lizzie as a team,” Fouse told TV Line. “They’ve made it through some tough times throughout the show.”

“MG definitely still feels the chemistry with Lizzie, but they’ve also really matured, and they realize that there are more pressing matters,” he continued. “It really is a roll-the-dice situation. Will they give in to what they’re feeling for one another, or will they be adults in this situation? Every new moment with them is a toss-up.”

Jenny Boyd says Lizzie will continue to explore her feelings for MG

In a recap video on The CW Network’s Youtube channel, Jenny Boyd also mentioned the possibility of a Lizzie and MG connection. She noted that MG has been the only one to stand by Lizzie’s side through her worst times. And as the season continues, Lizzie will continue to explore her romantic feelings for him.

“At the end of Season 2, we leave Lizzie having faked died and planned her own fake funeral,” Boyd said. “Being fake dead, she sees the way that a lot of her classmates honestly feel about her, which I think really shakes her and makes her realize that she still has a lot of work to do.”

The Legacies star added, “The one person who does really believe in her is MG. And I think she sees that and realizes that her feelings for him, might be more than she initially realized.”

New episodes of Legacies air Thursday nights on The CW.
