Select few people and groups know more about upcoming Marvel movies, like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, before anyone else. LEGO Marvel sets are usually unveiled before a movie’s release and include details and sometimes leaks. And a LEGO Doctor Strange 2, leak may have spoiled two Avengers cameos that might appear in the Sam Raimi film.

LEGO ‘Doctor Strange 2’ leaks may have revealed Iron Man and Spider-Man to appear in the Marvel movie

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness already has a full plate of Marvel heroes. Marvel plans for Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez), and more to appear. There are even theories of the Doctor Strange 2 trailers and posters included Patrick Stewart’s Professor X and Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool.

However, a LEGO Doctor Strange 2 leak allegedly confirms two more Avengers to appear. An Instagram post from T and N Bricks reportedly revealed a new LEGO set.

“LEGO will release a 2708-piece set based on Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum in May or June to coincide with the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness,” The Direct reported.

LEGO Minifigures rumored to appear in the set include three Doctor Strange Variants, Wanda Maximoff, Baron Mordo, Iron Man, and Spider-Man. And fans think the Tom Cruise Iron Man and Tobey Maguire Spider-Man could be the Minifigures in the set.

The LEGO ‘Doctor Strange 2’ leaks could confirm the rumored Tom Cruise Iron Man and Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Variants

The Disney+ Marvel Loki TV series introduced the idea of Variants, versions of heroes from other universes. Rumors have run rampant with Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness diving into several alternate versions of heroes.

Rumors have swirled around Tom Cruise playing an alternate Tony Stark, aka Iron Man, in the MCU. Other theories revolved around Tobey Maguire returning after helping Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

“The LEGO leak potentially spoils appearances of the wall-crawler and armored Avenger in the highly-anticipated sequel, although it’s unclear if the set is inspired by Multiverse of Madness,” The Direct notes.

Leaks and rumors remain speculation until the movie releases. Iron Man fought alongside Doctor Strange and Wong near the Sanctum Sanctorum in Avengers: Infinity War. However, the addition of three Stephen Strange Variants indicates that it almost certainly represents a scene from Doctor Strange 2.

Could the set indicate a return of Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland?

In the MCU, Robert Downey Jr. and Tom Holland have established themselves as the definitive Iron Man and Spider-Man. However, could the LEGO Doctor Strange 2 leaks hint at their inclusion in the Benedict Cumberbatch movie?

It seems very unlikely that either actor would appear in the next Marvel movie, though.

Robert Downey Jr. had a tearful send-off in Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios likely does not want to undo the heroic sacrifice, even if he appears as a Variant.

Meanwhile, Holland had his identity erased from everyone’s minds in the climax of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Not even Doctor Strange or MJ (Zendaya) remembers him.

Whichever versions the LEGO Doctor Strange 2 leaks may have revealed, fans are just excited at the idea of Iron Man and Spider-Man crashing through the multiverse in the new movie.
