Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth had a messy breakup. Their whirlwind marriage and the subsequent split were so drama-filled that people will be talking about it for years.

After just eight months of wedded bliss, the two announced their divorce. Within weeks, Cyrus was kissing Kaitlynn Carter poolside in Italy, while Hemsworth nursed his broken heart.

He had a fling or too as well, but he gave their relationship a month or two to settle before he was spotted out and about with other women. Despite their post break up drama, Hemsworth and Cyrus are both now in a better place

According to an insider close to Hemsworth, he’s happier now that his relationship with Cyrus is over. Hemsworth is “truly is happier now,” although he and Cyrus will always have a special bond.

The two were in an on-again-off-again relationship for 10 years. There’s no way that kind of history could just disappear.

According to the insider, Hemsworth still misses Cyrus, and he always will. “He will always love her and she’ll always love him,” says the insider.

Despite that, both of them are on to new relationships. Cyrus was with Carter for a short time, before moving on to Cody Simpson. The two seem to be getting along well.

As for Hemsworth, he seems to be getting serious with Australian model Gabriella Brooks. He even brought Brooks home to meet his parents

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus may have rushed into marriage

There’s a reason that Hemsworth and Cyrus rushed into their marriage. It turns out tragedy brought them together.

Their former Malibu home was destroyed in a wildfire in November 2018. After the shock of the fire, Hemsworth and Cyrus turned to each other for comfort. They tied the knot the next month.

According to the insider, the fire had everything to do with the timing of their wedding. The insider said: “The fires brought them closer together. When they lost everything, they leaned on one another and that’s why they got married how and when they did.”

Cyrus was the one who was really shaken by the wildfire. She felt lost, and her long history with Hemsworth made him the perfect person to help her through it.

It seems like her heightened emotions led to a decision to rush the wedding. According to the insider, Cyrus “decided when her house burned down she felt out of control and it brought them closer together, and had this epiphany about what was important in life…she wanted to ensure that they’d always be together forever.”

In the end, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were too different

Despite the fact that they’ll always have love for each other, it seems like the relationship between Hemsworth and Cyrus was destined to fail. The two are different in too many ways.

First, they come from different backgrounds. Cyrus was basically born famous. Her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is a big name in the music industry. Dolly Parton is her godmother.

Hemsworth’s family, on the other hand, comes from distinctly working-class roots. His family never really understood Cyrus, and according to the insider, they encouraged his divorce.

It wasn’t just that they came from different backgrounds. The two have completely different ideas of what a marriage should be. They just weren’t compatible, and that’s why it could never work. “

They split because [Liam] realized as he got older and grew up, they weren’t having a traditional marriage and relationship and that was hard for him and it wasn’t working for Miley, either,” said a source.

Breakups are painful for everyone, but the good news is that Hemsworth is doing much better now. Cyrus will always be a part of his life, but they’re better off apart.
