Fans of Little Fires Everywhere don’t fret about being all out of episodes wondering whether or not the show will return for a second season. Why? Because there are plenty of other programs just like it ready and waiting to be streamed. Ahead, check out our picks for TV shows that are similar to Little Fires Everywhere

1. ‘The Stranger’

The Stranger, which debuted on Netflix in Jan. 2020, tells the story of Adam Price (Richard Armitage) as he tries to uncover the truth about his wife after a stranger blindsides him with him scandalous information about her. Adam tries to learn more, and in doing so, discovers he’s not the only person who has been approached by a stranger with secrets about their loved ones.

Like Little Fires Everywhere, The Stranger is based on a book and filled with suspense and lies. Not only that but The Stranger may not get a second season just like Little Fires Everywhere

2. ‘Veronica Mars’

Kristen Bell plays Veronica Mars, a sarcastic, smart teenager who lost her best friend in a murder. She spends her time trying to solve the case or helping her private investigator dad. While Veronica Mars focuses on teens, there’s still plenty of drama  and deceit. Plus, the show came back for a fourth season in 2019 featuring a grown-up Veronica.

Hulu is home to the entire series including the Veronica Mars (2014) movie.

3. ‘Big Little Lies’

We couldn’t include a list about TV shows similar to Little Fires Everywhere and not include HBO’s Big Little Lies. Fans of Little Fires Everywhere will love to get another dose of Reese Witherspoon on the small-screen in this drama all about women living in Monterey, Calif., at the center of a murder investigation. Just like Little Fires Everywhere and The Stranger, Big Little Lies is based on a book.

Witherspoon stars in the series alongside Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsgård, and Meryl Streep.

Seasons 1 – 2 of Big Little Lies are available to watch on HBO Now or stream the series on Amazon Prime Video.

4. ‘Scandal’

Here’s another one we couldn’t skip. See Kerry Washington of Little Fires Everywhere in this drama from ABC. Washington starred in Scandal for seven seasons from 2012 – 2018 playing Olivia Pope, a top political fixer in Washington, D.C. Despite knowing people’s biggest secrets for a living, Olivia harbored a huge secret of her own; an affair with the president of the United States. Just like Little Fires Everywhere, viewers will get a hefty dose of suspense, lies, and some romance too.

Watch the entire series on Netflix.

5. ‘Pretty Little Liars’

Yet another series based on books, Pretty Little Liars follows a group of teenage girls in the aftermath of their friend’s disappearance. A year after Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) vanished, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) start receiving mysterious text messages from “A,” leading them to believe Alison is still alive.
