Loni Love is one of the co-hosts of The Real, the successful daytime show with a group of women discussing current events. With the show currently in its eight-season, there have been rumors it would not advance to a new season in the Fall of 2022. However, Love is now breaking her silence and addressing the reports of the alleged cancellation of the show.

What did Loni Love say about ‘The Real’s’ future?

The Real started in 2013 and has been in national syndication across the United States. Current co-hosts on the show include Love, Adrienne Bailon, Jeannie Mai, and Garcelle Beauvais. The latter joined the show in season 7 and pairs it with her duties on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

It was recently reported by The Jasmine Brand that The Real would end after season 8 allegedly due to ratings. No official word has been made about the future of the talk show. However, Love took to social media to address the rumors.

“It’s been a busy few days but I got a call from the studio.. no official decision has been made about The Real,” she posted on Twitter. “I will be ok but please give grace to the 150 crew members this may affect… we will finish Season 8 and wait for official word.”

Furthermore, Beauvais has also given a statement regarding the grim future for The Real but dismissed the reports as plain rumors.

“It’s a rumor. It hasn’t been confirmed by Fox, my team or anyone,” Beauvais told Bet.com.

‘The Real’ fans react to Loni Love’s tweet

Love shared her tweet on Instagram confirming that no final decision had been made about The Real. It wasn’t long before fans weighed in on the future of the show and expressed their support for the comedian.

“You’ve always been so transparent with your followers. True meaning of keeping it real,” a fan replied.

“No matter what happens y’all gave us the best daytime show ever. The show changed my life and my perspective in so many ways, hoping for the best!!” a follower added.

“Oh, I hope not a cancel. The show has gotten me through so much! I love watching everyday. In a stay at home mom and I look forward to the show,” an Instagram user said.

“If they make a decision to cancel let season 9 be the last season with all past and present host. Let this one be one for the books with healing and reconnecting friendships,” another fan commented.

“I love the show and I’d like the show to go for as long as you all still have the desire to make it,” another follower mentioned.

“I would be sooooo sad. I’ve been rocking with y’all since the pilot. I love you all!!!” another Instagram user added.

Loni Love on ‘Watch What Happens Live’

Love is scheduled to appear on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, Mar. 15. Andy Cohen and fans will surely ask Love for comment on the future of The Real. Producers of the show have not addressed any rumors about the show’s future as of now.
