Masika Kalysha on ‘Love & Hip Hop’

Though Kalysha has not appeared in every season of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood, she is definitely one of its most memorable personalities. She was a supporting cast member on the show’s first season, a main cast member on the third season, and then back again as a supporting cast member in the fourth season.

Her first season on the show revolved around two love triangles she was in. She was in one with Mally Mall and Miss Nikki Baby, and another one with Yung Berg and Hazel-E. Kalysha and Hazel-E feuded for much of their time on the show and they had multiple confrontations. In the show’s third season, her story was primarily about her being pregnant with Fetty Wap’s baby. She would go on to give birth to their daughter, Khari Barbi Maxwell.

On the fourth season of the show, she had another explosive feud, this time with Alexis Skyy, who was an ex-girlfriend of Fetty Wap that claims she was with him when she got pregnant. The feud was mostly explosive on just one side, however, as Kalysha barely entertained it.

Post-Love & Hip Hop: Kalysha starred in half a season of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta.

It looks like she called out Fetty Wap and fans have reacted

On Twitter, Kalysha referred to a “deadbeat dad,” and many people are assuming that she is talking about Fetty Wap. She wrote, “You coulda been anything in the world yet you chose to be a piece of shit, dead beat [sic] dad.”

A lot of fans responded to her tweet, agreeing with her sentiments and supporting her. One fan tweeted, “Why does everyone always bash the mom for picking the wrong guy but never say a word to the dead beat parent?”

“Same goes for you, Queen,” said someone else. You could be anything in this world, and you chose to be a bad ass, kick ass mother, business woman [sic], entrepreneur, artist, & a D**N good example for Khari. Know that you will ALWAYS be enough for her & she was blessed to have you as her mother.

This isn’t the first time she’s talked about her relationship with Fetty Wap or openly criticized him. Last December, she took to Twitter recently and said that he had not seen their daughter for the holidays. She tweeted, “That hurt hit different when your 3 year old’s cryin’ asking why her daddy’s missin.”

Also, this isn’t the first time that she’s referred to him as a “deadbeat.” Back in April, someone commented on a Q&A on Kalysha’s Instagram stories, saying, “My baby daddy is a deadbeat !!!!! I feel so bad for my daughter cause she loves her dad.” Kalysha co-signed the what the person said, responding with, “Had to do a double take sis thought I sent this to my self.”

Fetty Wap has yet to respond to Kalysha’s latest tweet.
