Rasheeda is a longtime cast member of ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’

She joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in the first season as one of its original main cast members. Before becoming a reality television personality, Rasheeda was most known for being a rapper. Her biggest hits include 2004’s “Got That Good (My Bubble Gum)” and Mims’ 2007 single, “Like This,” on which she was featured.

On Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Rasheeda has become a staple on the show and remained on it since its inception. Most of her storylines have included her continuing to make music and the relationship with her husband and manager, Kirk Frost. Kirk and Rasheeda are a controversial pairing as fans do not think Rasheeda needs to still be with him. Early in the show, Kirk accused Rasheeda of cheating on him. He also asked her to take a paternity test. This angered fans because, during this same time when he asked her that, he was caught cheating on Rasheeda with multiple women.

A reveal in later seasons was that Kirk was having a baby with another woman. Kirk was critiqued by fans once again, as well as Rasheeda for staying with him. They separated for a short period of time before getting back together. Another storyline includes her long-running feud with K. Michelle. Rasheeda’s Atlanta boutique, Pressed, is also a major shooting location for the series.

The rapper and reality star reacts to her song being all over TikTok

This month, Rasheeda’s 2012 single, “Marry Me,” has gone viral on TikTok with many people using the song in their videos. Rasheeda acknowledged the trend in several posts on Instagram in which she reposted videos from people dancing to the song on TikTok.

Unofficially dubbed as the “Marry Me Challenge,” folks have been posting videos with famous celebrities they find attractive while doing a dance.

She even posted a video of herself dancing to the song and doing the challenge, accompanied by her and Kirk’s youngest son, Karter. She captioned the post, “So Karter was like come on Mom let’s do a TikTok with your song 🤣🤣🤣 #putitonhimmakehimwannamarryme #marryme.”
