Cinco Holland Jr. and Cashay Proudfoot had a strong connection during ‘Love Island’ season 3

Initially partnered with Christian Longnecker after entering the villa, Cashay Proudfoot paired up with Melvin “Cinco” Holland Jr. when he arrived on Day 2.

The two were inseparable for several days until Trina Njoroge expressed her feelings for Cinco. Noting he didn’t think Cash wanted to open up to him, he moved on to Trina, who seemed ready.

Cash coupled up with several guys, unable to find another connection as she still felt strongly for Cinco. During Operation Heart Attack, she expressed her true feelings for him, and he admitted he still wondered “what if” they never split.

However, he failed to give either woman an answer, and Cash found love at Casa Amor with Charlie Lynch. After she returned with him, Cinco revealed he wanted to pursue her. Ultimately, she chose to move on with “Prince Charlie.”

He reveals if he would date Cash following the show on Instagram

After Cash made her choice, the Islanders had to send one guy and girl home and decided to dump Cinco, unsure if he would move on from her.

A couple of days following his elimination, the former Islander answered fan questions on his Instagram Story. Noting he had a “great experience” regardless of how others thought of him, Cinco claimed he did like Trina when he chose to couple up with her.

Additionally, he stated he felt Cash didn’t have strong feelings for him and believed she “pushed me away when I really wanted to pursue her.” Someone else asked why he went back and forth between the ladies, and Cinco explained he had a hard time giving his all to Cash when he thought she wasn’t as into him.

“If I knew how she truly felt earlier, things might have been different,” he added. Another follower wondered if he would date Cash after exiting the villa, and he vaguely responded that he didn’t know yet. “We’ll see when she gets out.”

Cinco and Leslie Golden could have coupled up

When the ladies left for Casa Amor, five girls showed up at the villa, looking for love. Although newcomer Leslie Golden made a connection with Korey Gandy, she and Cinco flirted and toyed with the idea of coupling up.

However, he chose to stick with Trina. A couple of days later, Leslie left due to “personal reasons.” She then answered questions about her experience on Instagram, noting she had the strongest connection with Cinco, believing he had a “beautiful” and “very deep mind.”

Cinco also opened up about his bond with Leslie while answering questions, explaining he didn’t couple up with her, even though he wanted to, because he thought involving her in his love triangle would have made things “super messy.”

Additionally, Cinco didn’t want to bring her back to the villa to tell the ladies that he decided to pursue Cash. As he no longer wanted to date Trina and Cash moved on to Charlie, he and Leslie could have developed a relationship if they both remained in the villa together. Love Island airs on CBS.
