The Good Place star Manny Jacinto just took the show’s message to heart and protested government inaction on climate change. On Nov. 22, Jacinto joined actress and activist Jane Fonda in Washington D.C. His appearance at the protest sparked a sudden interest in climate change as well as a surge of thirst tweets about Jacinto.

Manny Jacinto is an actor on NBC’s ‘The Good Place’

Jacinto currently stars in NBC’s The Good Place as Jason Mendoza. The show is in its fourth and final season, and over the years Jacinto has risen in popularity along with the show.

In 2019, it seems everyone has suddenly realized that not only is Jacinto a talented actor, he is also extremely attractive. A recent episode of The Good Place incorporated a joke about his cheekbones, and in October Jacinto took part in Buzzfeed’s Celebrities Read Thirst Tweets segment.

Manny Jacinto protested climate change inaction with Jane Fonda

Buzzfeed might need to make a sequel to Jacinto’s Celebrities Read Thirst Tweets segment. After Jacinto appeared at a “Fire Drill Fridays” protest with Fonda, everyone started tweeting about how hot Jacinto looked.

“listen i know what madame fonda is saying is vastly important but i cannot stop gawking at manny jacinto with his messy hair and glasses,” wrote a Twitter user.

“I know we all knew that Manny Jacinto looks like that but did we KNOW,” a fan tweeted.

“(he wasn’t arrested but) now I understand why @KenTremendous made Jason Mendoza such an airhead; it’s because if he’d put Manny Jacinto in glasses on TV no one would have been able to pay necessary attention to @nbcthegoodplace’s plot,” one fan tweeted.

Manny Jacinto gave a speech about climate change

Jacinto is a Filipino-born Canadian. At the protest, Jacinto gave a speech about how Filipino citizens are standing up to corporations polluting the climate. Talented? Check. Attractive? Check. Cares about the environment? Check. So not only is Jacinto a talented actor with a beautiful face, he is also an activist. When fans realized this, they obviously handled it very well.

“Manny Jacinto is using his hot person privilege to bring attention to climate change protests. That’s true activism,” wrote a Twitter user.

“I DID NOT ASK FOR MANNY JACINTO TO WEAR THIS SCARF AND THESE GLASSES AND STAND NEXT TO JANE FONDA TO DEMAND ACTION AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE AND YET GOD HERSELF GAVE IT TO ME,” a fan tweeted.

“I guess one of my types is Manny Jacinto wearing glasses. Much to think about,” one fan tweeted.

“Manny Jacinto looking like your cute, socially aware college professor,” tweeted a fan.

Other stars of ‘The Good Place’ have protested with Jane Fonda

Jacinto is not the first cast member of The Good Place to protest climate change inaction with Jane Fonda. In October 2019, Ted Danson was arrested with Fonda in Washington D.C. at a “Fire Drill Fridays” protest. After Danson’s arrest, Jacinto praised his cast member on Instagram.

“My MotherF****n Hero,” he wrote in a post.

By the looks of it, Jacinto decided to follow his hero’s footsteps and protest with Fonda. In doing so, it seems Jacinto secured his spot in The Good Place and started a conversation about climate change and his cheek bones.
