Lopez announced his partnership with Ibotta to support their efforts to help shoppers earn cashback while contributing funds to Feeding America. He says he was inspired to partner with Ibotta because he and his wife are committed to helping families in need.

“My wife and I have always been looking for ways to help families who are struggling and in need, and Ibotta, the cashback rewards app, helps people earn cashback on everyday purchases like groceries and clothing,” Lopez tells Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “I thought it was really cool because they put over a billion dollars of cash back in the pockets of Americans. Everyone is looking for ways to save money, especially on their grocery bill, and this is a great way to do it.”

Just in time for the Super Bowl, Ibotta is hosting a Big Game savings bundle. You can earn 100% cashback rewards on grocery items often purchased for Super Bowl gatherings, such as frozen pizza, chips, cheese, dips, cookies, and non-alcoholic beverages. The offer lasts until Feb. 13.

Lopez says he is excited that $1 from each qualifying redemption helps provide food to others through Feeding America.

“That was really cool, so I strongly suggest that if people don’t have it yet to download it or visit Ibotta.com. It’s a win-win for everyone. And most importantly, they’re going to donate a dollar to Feeding America for every qualifying pizza redemption.”

Lopez also mentioned he would surprise one lucky winner with an appearance at their Super Bowl party via Zoom. “When they purchase a pizza, they’re going to donate $1, and they’re automatically entered for a chance to have me at their Super Bowl party via Zoom,” says Lopez. “We’ll do tequila shots, hang out, take pictures, whatever they’d like.”
