Premise of ‘Marriage Boot Camp’

In May 2013, the Bridezillas spin-off, Marriage Boot Camp premiered on We TV. The first two seasons of the show revolved around five couples who appeared on the hit series Bridezillas moving into a house together to save their marriage.

At the end of the show, the pair then decide if they want to continue in their relationship or break up and part ways. Starting with the third season, the show began featuring reality stars instead of Bridezillas stars.

For the first seven seasons, marriage counselors Jim Carroll and his wife, Elizabeth, counseled the couples during their time on the show. In Season 8, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars 6, Dr. Ish Major and Dr. Venus “Dr. V” Nicolino took over as the counselors for the show.

Are ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ counselors Dr. V and Dr. Ish real doctors?

Who is in the ‘Marriage Boot Camp’ Hip Hop Edition 2 cast?

R&B singer and songwriter, Michel’le and boyfriend Robert “Stew” Stewart

The couple came to Marriage Boot Camp because Michel’le is insecure about their age difference and thinks her boyfriend wants to be with someone his age. Stew, a celebrity chef, doesn’t care about the age difference and agreed to appear on the show to strengthen their relationship.

Singer/songwriter CeeLo Green and fiance Shani James

The private couple has been together for eight years and arrived at the camp seeking improvement for the relationship.

Love and Hip Hop: New York star Bianca Bonnie and boyfriend Chozus

The youngest couple in the house have been dating for around eight months but fight daily. Even though the arguments are usually over insignificant things, their disputes can get explosive. For example, Bianca broke her boyfriend’s chain in the middle of the club during a fight. According to the rapper and reality star, she “dragged” Chozus to Boot Camp “so he can get his act together.”

Rapper Styles P and wife Adjua Styles

The New York-based couple married each other nearly 15 years ago, but their romantic life has become boring. From losing their daughter to suicide to infidelity, their marriage has been tested, so they checked into Marriage Boot Camp to find the spark again.

Reality television star Joseline Hernandez and boyfriend DJ Ballistic Beats

The Love and Hip Hop couple have been dating for a while, but Joseline wants to get married. Her boyfriend doesn’t want a deadline as he takes care of her and her daughter. However, the reality star stated that if they do not leave the house engaged, she will leave him.
