‘Married at First Sight’: Mindy Asks Zach If He’s Gay; He Says She’s Been Dishonest From The Start

Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice have a confrontation in a sneak peek for the upcoming Mar. 11 episode, 'Anniversaries and Secrets,' of Lifetime's 'Married at First Sight' Season 10. Mindy accuses Zach of lacking commitment to the experiment, while Zach accuses Mindy of being dishonest about something.

Mindy Shiben has struggled in her marriage to Zach Justice ever since the first episode of Lifetime’s Married at First Sight Season 10. Zach admitted he wasn’t physically attracted to Mindy, but his furtive answers about why he wouldn’t move in with her and at least try to make their marriage work bewildered her.

In a sneak peek of the upcoming Mar. 11 episode of Married at First Sight, “Anniversaries and Secrets,” exclusively from International Business Times, Mindy and Zach argue once again about his lack of commitment. But this time, Zach turns the tables on Mindy and makes his own accusation as well.

Mindy questions Zach about his lack of commitment

In the preview clip, Mindy confronts Zach at their one-month anniversary dinner about his refusal to move in with her.

“It honestly feels like a slap in the face sometimes when I’m following through on my commitment, and you have time for everything but this,” the 34-year-old figure skating coach laments to her husband.

Zach, a 32-year-old fitness professional, can’t even bear to look at Mindy as he gives yet another noncommittal answer. “It’s hard, there’s just so…f*ck,” he concludes.

Mindy wonders, “Do you have a girlfriend? Are you gay?”

“No,” Zach answers definitively.

The Married at First Sight bride apologizes for being so frank. “I’m sorry,” Mindy says. “These are questions that my friends ask me all the time. Like, what’s his deal? And I’m like, I have no idea.”

“Neither of those,” Zach reiterates.

“Okay,” Mindy responds, looking relieved. “Like, I didn’t think so, but this is just what people ask.”

Zach admits he thinks Mindy doesn’t trust him and that she suspects him of cheating. “It feels like a really nice way to be like, ‘Are you committing adultery, by any chance?’ But no,” he reassures her.

Zach accuses Mindy of being dishonest

After a moment, Zach turns things around and confronts Mindy for a change.

“So, before, you said you’re being robbed of this experience,” he begins. Mindy agrees that she does feel slighted.

He continues, “And then, you said along the way, ‘I committed to this. I signed up for this. I was excited about marriage. I was excited coming into this.”

“You haven’t been honest with me,” the Married at First Sight star declares to a confused Mindy. “Before the marriage to the honeymoon to after the honeymoon.”

Mindy insists she has no idea what Zach is referring to

Zach’s wife tells him she has absolutely no idea what he’s referencing. “What are you talking about?” the Married at First Sight star asks her husband.

Zach’s eyes take on an angry gleam as he continues to confront her. “Just think about it,” he demands. “During Panama, after the wedding. Anything you’ve been dishonest about. There’s full honesty there, is what you’re telling me? You’ve been honest this whole time? Upfront with me?”

“Yes,” Mindy replies, looking more confused than ever.

But Mindy’s husband looks like he doesn’t believe her at all. “Please think hard. Please,” Zach begs, as Mindy looks away in bewilderment.
