Martha Stewart’s Farm Has Array of Animals From Peacocks to Geese And She Makes ‘All Their Food’

Martha Stewart has been in the spotlight for decades, but even after so many years as the world’s foremost domestic guru, people still can’t get enough of Stewart and her unique perspective on life. Stewart rose to fame as a chef and lifestyle expert, showing her fans everything from how to prepare delicious, impressive meals to setting the perfect holiday table.

These days, Stewart is equally known for her skills as a businesswoman and has become fabulously wealthy. Stewart isn’t shy about showing off her wealth, and regularly takes her fans inside her extravagant home life, detailing her beautiful farm in Bedford, New York.

Recently, Stewart took to Twitter to clear the air about how many peacocks she has on her farm, further displaying her dedication to her flock of animal friends.

What is Martha Stewart best known for?

Stewart was born in New Jersey in 1941. But while Stewart is a Jersey girl at heart, the domestic diva has been able to craft a public persona that exudes wealth and sophistication. Part of this is due to the fact that Stewart has expertly been able to build an image that suits her, even from the very beginning of her career as a model and stockbroker.

In the ’80s, Stewart began developing her skills as a chef and lifestyle expert, publishing several bestselling books that revolved around cooking and entertaining. By the early ’90s, Stewart had become familiar to television viewers as a regular guest on Oprah Winfrey’s daytime talk show.

And in 1993, she began appearing on her very own TV show, Martha Stewart Living. Stewart’s show was wildly successful and ran until 2004, at which point, Stewart revamped her image yet again, returning to television the following year with the show Martha

Stewart has everything from horses to chickens on her New York farm. She also has a significantly less functional animal on the property, a flock of stunning peacocks that are her pride and joy.

Recently, Stewart took to Twitter to correct an earlier report that stated she had 16 peacocks on the farm. Stewart detailed “They have a story on peacocks today and say I have sixteen on my farm. “I actually have 21 of these glorious birds whose house is impeccable. They do not smell. They are so clean! Their voices are loud but such fun to hear. They are so friendly….I visit these beautiful birds every day.”

Stewart has talked about her animals many times and is open about the fact that she likes to stay involved in her pets’ lives. “I do make their food, all their food,” the domestic diva told People in 2018. Stewart also has several product lines devoted to animals, including grooming tools and an outerwear line. “I really, really adore my animals. I never get mad at my animals. There’s just not anything to get mad at,” Stewart revealed.
