Mayan MC Season 4 is only three episodes in, and already it has been an explosive season. In episode 3, Angel, EZ, and Manny were tasked with escorting El Banquero’s accountant across the border. The accountant, a man named Randall, planned to go into hiding in Mexico. Things went south pretty quickly at the end of the episode. Here’s what happened and what it could mean for the Mayans.

Why did Angel shoot Randall in ‘Mayans MC’ Season 4 Episode 3?

Things don’t look good for the Santo Padre charter in Mayans MC Season 4 Episode 3. Canche reveals that most of the other club members want to get rid of Santo Padre, but Marcus Alvarez is reluctant to do so. He sees hope in Manny and EZ, who agree to escort El Banquero’s accountant Randall into Mexico. Angel is reluctantly roped into the mission. Alvarez urges Canche to see how the mission goes, as it could be financially beneficial for the club.

The Mayans are surprised when Randall turns up with a kid named Noah who they assume to be his son. Although Canche didn’t know about the boy, he instructs EZ, Angel, and Manny to proceed anyway. During their trip through the desert, the group hears noises that could be from border patrol “or someone worse.” They decide to lay low until it’s safe to proceed. Angel Reyes wakes up in the middle of the night and notices that Randall and Noah are missing. He finds Randall attempting to sexually abuse Noah. Disgusted, Angel shoots Randall.

‘Mayans MC’ fans realized Noah likely isn’t Randall’s son

Several fans now believe that Noah was not even Randall’s child. “I got suspicious when he called him Noah and not my son,” a Reddit user wrote. “I instantly was suspicious bc of the way Noah was acting with him… like he was a captor, not his father,” another said.

None of the Mayans expected a kid to be accompanying Randall. Notably, Canche even says, “Your employer didn’t say anything about your son.” Randall seems to have known that the Mayans would let it go if he threatened to call his employer and simply assume that El Banquero neglected to mention it.

Angel’s actions could have serious consequences

Angel’s anger and disgust are understandable, particularly given the fact that he just had a long talk about fatherhood with Manny and EZ. However, Angel’s actions are certainly going to have repercussions.

The other charters are pushing to get rid of Santo Padre and killing El Banquero’s accountant isn’t going to make things better. In the promo for episode 4, Canche is shown asking, “Who pulled the trigger?” He also calls EZ a “walking dead man.” It’s safe to say that despite Randall’s disgusting actions, Canche won’t be too forgiving about what Angel did.
