‘Mayans MC’ Season 4: What Happened to Erin in Episode 9?
Throughout Mayans MC Season 4, Emily has been hiding out, terrified that Miguel Galindo will find her and her son. Emily’s sister Erin has been helping her keep a low profile, but things took a turn in episode 9. Here’s what fans need to know about Erin’s fate, as well as the actor who plays her.

Holland Roden joined the cast of Mayans MC in season 3. She portrays Emily’s sister Erin. Miguel Galindo calls on Erin to help her sister through a difficult time. While speaking with Nerds of Color in 2021, Roden stated that she has a lot of questions about her Mayans MC character.
“She rides the line of unpredictable and wild and wants that adventure and does not have the best decision-making skills and doesn’t create the best relationships in life, but there’s still a heart inside of her. You can tell she really loves her sister,” the actor said.
In season 4 things look a lot different. Emily is working as a waitress and having her son stay with Erin. She is terrified by the idea of Galindo finding them and has armed her sister with extensive instructions on how to leave the country without her if need be. However, in episode 9 it wasn’t Emily who found herself in danger.
Erin met her end in ‘Mayans MC’ Season 4
By episode 9, Emily has decided to flee. She instructs Erin to leave with her son and promises to follow in a few days when she can be sure she hasn’t been followed. Erin is panicking but Emily tells her she is fearless and the toughest person she knows.
Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned. Emily tries repeatedly to get in contact with Erin to no avail. Instead, a scary-looking man with blood on his hands has her phone. A brief scene shows him shutting a door where a nursery rhyme plays. He then steps into the next room. Erin can be heard pleading, and then a gun goes off.
Even though fans didn’t see Erin die, she presumably met her end in episode 9. Now the big question is where is Cristobal? A Reddit user gave the most likely explanation. “Galindo’s son was staying with Emily’s sister. The bodyguard was there to take Galindo’s son back.”
Holland Roden has appeared in several other TV shows
Holland Roden’s role as Erin in Mayans MC is far from her first time on television. In fact, Roden starred as Lydia Martin in MTV’s wildly successful series Teen Wolf for quite some time. She is also set to reprise that role in an upcoming movie version of Teen Wolf, according to IMDb. Roden’s other notable TV credits include Channel Zero and appearances in shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Weeds, and Community.
New episodes of Mayans MC Season 4 air Tuesday nights at 10 p.m. EST on FX.
