Injuries tend to occur all of the time while filming Hollywood movies. However, it is usually pretty rare that a serious one happens. Depending on the type of picture, crew members and actors are obviously more prone to getting hurt. Think action films that require crazy stunts like John Wick and Mission: Impossible.

According to Deadline, an accident occurred earlier this week on the set of the upcoming Netflix movie Me Time. The event apparently took place at Sunset Grower Studios in Hollywood on Tuesday morning.

A spokesperson for the LA Fire Department told the online news outlet that they received a 911 call early in the morning. During the call, a report of a “long fall” that took place at the facility was given. They immediately sent out an ambulance to the scene to help and access the situation.

Insider sources have said that the accident took place at Stage 12 on the lot. The person, who remains nameless for privacy reasons, was a male stage technician. While working on the grid above the stage, he fell from a height of at least 30 feet.

The Philly Voice has now had reports that CPR and shock took place in an attempt to restore the victim’s breathing, blood pressure, and pulse. The paramedics drove him to the hospital with fractures to both of his legs and one arm.

The injury is one of the more severe in recent years and the California Occupational Safety and Health Division is now investigating. Hopefully, everything will turn out fine, and the victim will be OK.

‘Sniff’: Al Pacino Set to Star Alongside Big Names in Upcoming Film Noir

Me Time is the latest film to come about during the joint effort between Netflix and Hart’s company HartBeat Productions. The two companies recently signed a contract for the stand-up comedian to be in four films for the massive streaming platform.

“Partnering with Netflix is an amazing opportunity for HartBeat and myself,” the Jumanji star told Deadline. “I am excited to act in and produce cutting-edge films with Netflix.”

Starring alongside Hart is Wahlberg, and it will be the first time that the two have been in a project together. Included in the project is Regina Hall from Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers and her Showtime comedy Black Monday. Jimmy O. Yang and Luis Gerardo Méndez have also been announced as joining the cast.

The comedy is about a stay-at-home dad who gets alone when his wife and kids go away. After reaching out to his former best friend, they reconnect for a wild weekend. Their adventure gets a little crazy and nearly upends his life.

There is currently no release date for the upcoming movie, and it is not certain how this injury may impact the filming.
