After weeks of speculation, Megan Thee Stallion claims that fellow musician Tory Lanez shot her in both feet as she walked away from him after a night out. Though fans had to guess the Canadian singer was the alleged perpetrator behind the heinous act of violence against Megan, the Suga rapper had remained mostly silent about the terrifying ordeal.

After clarifying that she had been shot in the feet multiple times, Megan has been focused on healing and celebrating the momentous success of her latest single “WAP” with Cardi B.

Now, as rumors begin to spread and Lanez continues to move about freely, the Houston-born rapper is coming forward to share her story and to clarify any confusion that fans might have had.

Earlier this week, Megan posted gruesome photos of her gunshot wounds on her feet. “I got hit at the back of my feet because when I got shot I was WALKING AWAY FACING THE BACK. why would I lie abt getting shot?” she said.

Still, despite the horrific photos of her wounds, there was still speculation about what occurred and who was involved. Therefore, Megan hopped on Instagram Live to set the record straight.

“Yes…Tory shot me,” she alleged. “You shot me. and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and s–t…stop lying. I was just trying to get home, we was five minutes away from my spot. The police come, I’m scared.”

At the time of the act of violence against her, Megan did not focus on the person who harmed her. Instead, she focused on herself, her healing, and doing what was best for her well being. In the days following the attack, she posted an Instagram caption about what occurred.

“The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight,” she wrote. ”On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.”

Now, in light of Megan’s latest allegations against Lanez, the LAPD is pressing forward with charges. The LA District Attorney also issued a statement saying,

On July 24, our office asked law enforcement for further investigation before making a filing decision on a charge of felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm – personal use of a firearm, against Daystar Peterson (Tory Lanez).

Megan Thee Stallion is done being quiet about her attack.

Megan revealed that she remained silent for nearly a month because she also did not want the LAPD to harm Lanez when they approached the vehicle as she claims the police were “really aggressive.” She revealed,

Even though he shot me, I tried to spare him [at the time]. I go through so much s–t on a daily basis anyways….[Tory’s] not in jail because I didn’t tell the [police] what happened, and I should have. I’m smart. I didn’t have to spare [Tory]. But I did. And I’m done. Stop acting like Black women is the motherf–king problem, stop acting like Black women is aggressive…stop spreading lies…you shot me, you scared to come tell everybody that you f–king shot me.

We are glad Megan is telling hr truth, hopefully justice is served.
