Since her move back to LA in March 2020 following her shocking royal exit, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex has been on a path to reclaim her life. When she married Prince Harry in May 2018, she left her entire life behind. Meghan resigned from her hit TV series, Suits, packed up her home in Toronto and moved across the world.

Though she and Prince Harry had a ton of plans and the best of intentions, their time as a royal couple within the royal fold was fraught with nasty tabloids, pushback from the royal family, and feeling helpless to defend themselves. Meghan encountered racist and sexist bullying at an unprecedented level.

Now that Meghan has returned to her home state, she and Prince Harry have begun to set up permanent roots, and the duchess has also met an enchanting new friend.

Meghan Markle is excited to be back home

Meghan and Prince Harry have just purchased their very first home, a $14.7 million estate in Santa Barbara. The 19,000 square foot home has an impressive nine bedrooms and 16 bathrooms. It also boasts a library, gym, separate wet and dry saunas, an elevator, arcade, game room, and home theater.

The couple has reportedly been living n their new home since July and no one is more excited then Meghan about returning home. Meghan recently interviewed journalist, co-founder, and CEO of The 19th*, Emily Ramshaw. During the interview the duchess said,

From my standpoint, it’s not new to see this undercurrent of racism and certainly unconscious bias, but I think to see the changes that are being made right now is … something I look forward to being a part of. And being part of using my voice in a way that I haven’t been able to of late. So, yeah, it’s good to be home.

Meghan Markle has always been inspired by Adele

Though California still has Stay-At-Home orders, Meghan has been able to reconnect with old friends while making some new ones. During their first several months back in LA, the Sussexes lived at Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills mansion.

The couple just happened to be neighbors with singer, Adele. The singer would often pop over to visit with the Sussexes, their son Archie and Meghan’s mom, Doria Ragland. Since Meghan has always been inspired by Adele’s music and her private personal life, we’re sure forming a friendship with the singer has been incredible.

“Meghan admires how Adele has managed to keep out of the spotlight despite being a huge star,” a source told The Mirror. “And she is a big fan of her album 21, which she says helped her through her divorce from Engelson.”

Adele and Meghan Markle have been doing pilates together

In addition to their friendly chats, Adele and Meghan passed quarantine by doing pilates together. “Meghan and Adele have been having Pilates lessons,” a source told The Mirror. “They are loving it. The instructor has also been giving lessons to Harry. It’s a great stress-buster.”

Honestly this sounds like an amazing friendship.
