Like the rest of us, the British royal family is practicing self-quarantining and social distancing. Prince Charles has been diagnosed with coronavirus (COVID-19), which is obviously very scary. Thankfully, he has released a statement saying that he is in good health. His diagnosis comes after Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex completed their final royal engagements as senior members of the royal family.

At this time, Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex are on Vancouver Island in Canada where they are isolating with their young son, Archie Harrison. U.K. media correspondent Neil Sean told Fox News that when Prince Harry found out about his father’s diagnosis he “wanted to return straight away.” However, the future Crowned King told his youngest son “not to travel,” assuring the 35-year-old “he will be fine.”

Now, we have some insight into how Meghan and Prince Harry are doing amid the coronavirus along with the sweetest update on baby Archie Harrison.

Inside Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s life on Vancouver Island

Prior to social distancing and self-quarantining, the duke and the duchess were out and about on Vancouver Island. “Meghan takes a walk with Archie every single day through the woods,” a local told Us Weekly. “She either pushes him in a stroller through the paved trails through the public woods by their home or straps him on and walks the more rustic routes. The walks usually last around an hour or two, but she takes them daily.”

Currently, the Sussexes are renting out a $14 million mansion on Vancouver Island with expansive square footage that sits on four acres and has two beaches.

“The home is fully furnished with a 11,416 square foot main house with five bedrooms and eight bathrooms and a 2,349 square foot guest cottage with three beds and two baths,” Daily Mail reports. “The estate has, a formal dining room, paneled office with fireplace, large two-story living room opening to the chef’s kitchen with pizza oven, game room with wet bar, media room and wine tasting room.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are trying to flatten the curve

Like a good chunk of the rest of the globe, the Sussexes are flattening the curve. An insider told Entertainment Tonight, “Meghan has been passing the time by video chatting with her friends. She’s even exchanged recipes with some of them on how to cook at home.”

The duchess has also reportedly placed a strict hygiene mandate in place, asking her staff and security to wear latex gloves. However, the Sussexes haven’t been totally in the background.

The pair have also used their wildly popular Instagram account ton share factual information and guidelines about how we can all lend a hand during this terrifying pandemic. They are also said to be very concerned with the mental health of people across the globe.

Baby Archie has had several milestones

Of course, baby Archie is blissfully unaware that anything in his life has changed. The public hasn’t seen a glimpse o the tiny tot since the Sussexes’ end-of-year roundup. However, sources close to the royal couple say that the 10-month-old is thriving.

“Archie has now learned how to pull himself up while in the crib which Meghan said is cute, but can be a bit nerve-wracking,” a friend of the duchess’ told Express. “She also said Archie’s new thing is blowing kisses, which is just absolutely adorable.”
