The Duchess of Sussex turned 40 on August 4, 2021. She marked the milestone birthday by announcing a mentorship program via her and Harry’s official Archewell site.

“With my 40th lap around the sun in mind, it made me wonder: what would happen if we all committed 40 minutes to helping someone else or to mentoring someone in need?” Meghan wrote. “And then what would happen if we asked our friends to do the same?”

She continued, saying she’d asked “40 friends, activists, athletes, artists, and world leaders to help kickoff a global effort by contributing 40 minutes of mentorship to support women re-entering the workforce.”

Adele, Kerry Washington, Amanda Gorman, Gabrielle Union, Katie Couric, Priyanka Chopra, Ayesha Curry, and Harry’s cousin Princess Eugenie of York are just a few of the people who are donating their time to Meghan’s 40×40 initiative.

Meghan also appeared in a two-minute video with actor Melissa McCarthy as part of the 40×40 announcement. Meghan and McCarthy sipped on tea in their respective offices during which fans got to see more of the Duke of and Duchess of Sussex’s home office than ever before.

Thanks to some sleuthing and eagle-eyed fans What Meghan Wore identified most of the items seen in the video clip. Among the pricier items including a Hermes throw blanket is what appears to be two $10 paper trays from Target. See them in the video next to a gold vase and stacks of Meghan’s children’s book The Bench

For all those who like to emulate the Duchess of Sussex’s style — the ‘Meghan Effect’ is a real thing — the paper trays from Target’s Threshold line are still in stock at the time of publication.

Some outlets also spotted framed photos of baby Lili as well as Harry and Meghan’s 2-year-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor on the desk.

Harry also made a cameo in the video — he attempted to juggle outside the office window — and so did Meghan’s beagle, Guy, who snuggled up on a striped dog bed close by.
