Patrick J. Adams’ comments on Meghan Markle slammed the royal family for their treatment of her

Having spent nearly a decade of his life on set with Meghan, Adams is beyond fed up with the media and the royal family’s treatment of her, and he’s taking a stand. “Meghan Markle and I spent the better part of a decade working together on Suits,” he tweeted. “From day one, she was an enthusiastic, kind, cooperative, giving, joyful and supportive member of our television family. She remained that person and colleague as fame, prestige, and power accrued.”

Adams continued, “She fell in love, moved to a new country, became a household name across the entire globe and began the difficult work of trying to find her place in a family dynamic that can at best be described as complicated and at worst, seemingly archaic and toxic.”

Are Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle still friends?

Adams and Markle were very close amid their years of living in Toronto and filming Suits. Adams and his wife Troian Bellisario even attended the Sussexes’ 2018 wedding in London.

While Meghan was living in the U.K. she and Adams didn’t visit as they’d done previously. “We don’t spend any time together, but that’s not because of anything other than how completely enormous her life has become in so many ways,” he explained via Express.

However, that might have changed since her move to California. Adams also shared that they had exchanged a few texts following the birth of Archie. We can see why the actor and some writers from Suits are calling The Firm and the media’s treatment of Meghan “racist, slanderous, clickbaiting vitriol.”
