Does Meghan Markle Have Pregnancy Cravings?
Meghan Markle is sparkling as a brand new member of the British Royal Family, and she has a stunning pregnancy glow as well. In Fall 2018 Kensington Palace announced, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.”

Meghan Markle’s pregnancy cravings
It looks like Markle isn’t immune to pregnancy cravings. A royal insider told InTouch Weekly, “She’s been eating much more cheese than she used to — pasteurized, of course — and Harry has been buying her British candy and chocolates. She caves and eats well-done chips [fries], but mostly she sticks to her very healthy, clean eating.”
Meghan Markle’s favorite foods
Though the former actress keeps a reasonably healthy diet, some of her favorite foods are a bit indulgent. She once told Cosmopolitan U.K., “I could eat french fries all day.” Also, she loves a delicious bowl of ooey-gooey mac and cheese. She told EyeSwoon, “I now buy the Annie’s organic one if I’m craving it, but I throw some frozen peas into it and have this gooey simple childlike meal. I used to cook it for the kids I would babysit, and I always enjoyed feeling like a kid and eating with them.”
The Duchess of Sussex’s pregnancy diet
Markle adheres to a strict pregnancy diet which means no alcohol, no soft cheeses, and saying no to rare steak and sushi. She’s also had to give up her green juices which she loves in the morning in place of coffee. Luckily, some of her other favs like pasta, watermelon. roasted chicken and mac and cheese are all still on the menu.
Her workout routine
While most of us struggle to get to the gym on a regular day, Markle is strict about her workout routine even during her pregnancy. While the rest of us are still soring under the covers, the duchess apparently wakes up at around 4:30 a.m. for yoga. Like her mother, Doria Ragland, Markle is an avid yogi who is even getting her own studio built into her new estate, Frogmore House.
In the warmer months, Markle also likes to incorporate jogging into her workout routine. She has been spotted jogging around the Kensington Palace Green often.

The Duchess of Sussex meets Minnie, a one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, during her first visit to @TheMayhew since becoming Patron. Minnie has recently become available for adoption from Mayhew. Mayhew work to keep rescued animals safe, healthy and loved, caring for them on-site or via foster care, until they can find them the perfect family — last year Mayhew rehomed 98 dogs and 380 cats.
Meghan Markle’s due date
The spring essentially runs from March 1 to May 31. However, since Markle had a successful 12-week scan in mid-October, we’d take an educated guess and assume that her baby is due to enter the world in mid-April 2019. During their first public outing of 2019, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the town of Birkenhead. The Suits alum confirmed to onlookers that her due date will be in late April or early May.
