Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Are Obsessed With This American Fast-Food Restaurant, Sources Say

Having a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle is high on a list of priorities for Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry. While Meghan has always been conscious of health and wellness, adhering to a very healthy diet, yoga, and exercise, the prince has become more aware of wellness since meeting his wife.

Since the pair has become a couple, the Duke of Sussex has stopped smoking cigarettes and has been more physically active, even taking up yoga like his wife. In fact, the pair spent so much money on wellness while in The Firm that Queen Elizabeth was reportedly alarmed.

However, for the Sussexes, wellness also means balance and indulging every now and again.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are very into health and wellness

Eating well and maintaining an active lifestyle is high on the list of priorities for Meghan and Prince Harry. Their Windsor home, Frogmore Cottage has its own yoga room. Meanwhile, during their holiday in Canada, they were spotting hiking and walking the trails.

Since they’ve moved to Califonia, the prince has been seen biking around Malibu taking in the fresh air. Now that the pair have moved to the Montecito community of Santa Barbara, they will fit right in with their community. An insider told Pod Save the Queen podcast,

It’s very expensive to live there, but it’s a fun town and very health-conscious ‒ bike paths and gorgeous beaches, mountains and hiking. I’m not surprised Harry and Meghan moved to Montecito. It’s gorgeous and as close as you’ll get away from the crazy of the cement Los Angeles area. People will be very closed off with speaking to anyone with the press. The locals do not like the press bothering the residents and will let them know they’re not wanted in order to protect their privacy. It’s just the way it works there.

50 years ago, women in Britain won the right to equal pay. That monumental moment began with one courageous and inspiring group of women in a factory in Dagenham, England. In 1968, facing a pay settlement that declared them less skilled than men, the sewing machinists of the Ford Motor Company walked out on strike. In the face of great pressure, they stood firm, and two years later the UK Parliament was forced to pass the Equal Pay Act, protecting and supporting working women ever since. To mark International Women’s Day, The Duchess of Sussex visited Dagenham to meet with Geraldine Dear, one of the strikers, and spend time with students at the Robert Clack Upper School to meet the town’s next generation of female role models, and talk to young women and men about the women who inspire them. • “Being in Dagenham is incredibly profound. Because as you can see with Geraldine and the other women who had the strength to really stand up for something that they knew needed to be done. This is the best example of no matter how small you might feel, how low you may feel on the ladder or the totem pole, no matter what colour you are, no matter what gender you are, you have a voice, and you certainly have the right to speak up for what is right.” – The Duchess of Sussex A lifetime advocate and campaigner for gender equity, The Duchess joined a special assembly to celebrate this remarkable local story, as well as recognise the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of all women around the world. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2020 #EachForEqual Photo © The Duke and Duchess of Sussex / Chris Allerton

Meghan Markle eats healthy during the week and indulges on the weekend

When she was still acting, Meghan revealed that she ate a vegan diet during the week and indulged on the weekend. Some of her favorite things to indulge in are pasta, wine, and her absolute favorite food — french fries. Meghan told EyeSwoon back in 2017,

I love a french fry, but there’s no shame in that. But you know what I do really happen to lovvvvve is that boxed macaroni and cheese. I now buy the Annie’s organic one if I’m craving it, but I throw some frozen peas into it and have this gooey simple childlike meal. I used to cook it for the kids I would babysit and I always enjoyed feeling like a kid and eating it with them. I’m also not averse to eating tater tots. With ketchup and sriracha

The Sussexes are obsessed with this fast-food restaurant

With Meghan’s love of french fries, it appears that she and Prince harry have found their new favorite California fast-food spot. Sometimes when the pair make the 90-minute drive from LA after working or volunteering back home to Santa Barbara, they stop at In-N-Out Burger. ET Online reported,

The couple has stopped by a few times on their way home from meetings and appearances. Last Monday, after the preschool garden planting, they stopped at the drive-thru and all of the employees nearly lost their minds. They were all yelling and laughing, and could not believe Meghan and Harry were ordering burgers from the drive-thru. Rumor has it, Harry has already learned about the secret menu.
