No matter how much you are in the spotlight, nothing can change the fact that parenthood is a wonderful thing. Children bring so much joy to our lives, from the time they enter the world as brand-new infants and through all of their major milestones as older kids. 

It wasn’t too long ago that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry announced that they were going to become parents — and fans were absolutely ecstatic to hear the news. Almost instantly, bets began on whether the baby would be a boy or a girl, and what some potential names were.

Almost a year to the day of their extravagant royal wedding, Meghan and Harry welcomed their first child, a son named Archie Harrison. It is evident how much they love their child, and on Valentine’s Day of this year, the great news was released that the couple was set to welcome a second baby. Just in case anyone is completely out of the loop, let’s quickly recap just who Meghan and Harry are. Harry was born into the British royal family, as the second son of future king Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana. For a long time, he was known as the “rebel” of the royal family, finding himself in some difficult situations.

Harry was becoming known as the world’s most eligible bachelor until he finally met American actress Meghan on a blind date in the summer of 2016. According to Town & Country, the couple hit it off immediately and officially became husband and wife in a 2018 ceremony that was broadcast live around the world.

It was in 2019 that Archie Harrison was born, and after becoming parents, most people can likely agree that they have never seen Meghan and Harry look so happy.

Meghan and Prince Harry’s family is growing

We haven’t seen all that much of Archie, but on the few occasions that we have, it is evident that his parents absolutely adore him. The Sussex family currently lives in Montecito, California, and there is no doubt that the couple has a great life with Archie.

Harper’s Bazaar reports that the proud parents have been talking about his major milestones, such as talking, walking around, and even playing at the beach. Meghan and Harry have said that they truly value their time with their young son, and as every parent knows, that time is precious. The couple is expecting their second child, a daughter, this year.

We know that Meghan and Harry just love their lives as parents, so what, exactly have they said? According to E! Online, quite a bit.

When the couple introduced Archie to the world, Harry proudly said that “It’s been the most amazing experience I can ever possibly imagine.”

It is really no secret that Harry has always wanted kids, and after the birth of his niece, before he became a father, he said that “I would love to have kids right now, but there’s a process that one has to go through.”

Things worked out for the best, and now, Harry’s wife, Meghan happily says about Archie: “We were both there for Archie’s first steps, his first run, his first fall, everything.”

The couple, who are currently expecting a baby girl, just can’t stop gushing about parenthood. So, what else have they said? Shortly after Archie’s birth, Meghan told reporters: “It’s pretty amazing and, I mean, I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

Harry also shared that “Our little man is our No. 1 priority,” and we are sure that Meghan agrees. Even so, she acknowledges that it isn’t always easy, going so far as to say: “Any woman, especially when they’re pregnant, you’re really vulnerable and so that was made really challenging,”

We know that Meghan and Harry love Archie and their upcoming daughter more than anything, with Meghan putting it as simply as possible, saying of parenthood that “It’s magic”.
