It’s been years since Melora Hardin played The Office‘s Dunder-Mifflin boss Jan Levinson, but she’s been busy with a long list of other projects. The actor has been an accomplished dancer, singer, and all-around talent in the industry since the late 1970s. How much is she worth in 2021?

Melora Hardin wasn’t always known for her role on The Office. Long before that claim to fame, the Houston, Texas native and her family moved to California when she was 5. Hardin comes from a family of actors, though her brother former CEO of the company Flock.

While attending Sarah Lawrence College in New York, Hardin scooped up roles in projects like Thunder and Different Strokes. She followed those successes with parts in dozens of projects. You can see Hardin in everything from Dirty Dancing, the TV series, to Monk, The Office, The Blacklist, A Million Little Things, and most recently, The Bold Type, to name a few.

In 1997, the star married actor Gildart Jackson, and the couple has two daughters together.

Here’s how much Hardin is worth in 2021

Having starred in plenty of big-name projects, Hardin has an estimated net worth of $4 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The big payday is a culmination of the actor’s lifelong work in Hollywood (she began at 10). Between TV movies, TV shows, and various other endeavors, she’d definitely become the envy of Jan Levinson.

The site also reports that Hardin sold a three-bedroom, two-bathroom house in 2016 for a cool $855,000, but it’s unclear if she’s purchased any other properties. She’ll also get a paycheck for participating in one of the longest-running competitions on TV — Dancing With the Stars.

Following in fellow The Office co-star Kate Flannery (2019), Hardin has joined season 30 of Dancing With the Stars. While Flannery and partner Pasha Pashkov placed seventh, we think Hardin can top that. After all, we’ve seen Jan’s dance moves opposite Michael Scott.

As it turns out, Hardin has dance experience in her background. The star told The Ringer in 2018 she didn’t intend to become an actor.

“I was a very serious ballerina,” she said. “I would’ve told you as a child that I was going to be a ballerina and that acting was just my hobby.”

That said, every fan of The Office remembers Hardin’s terrible dance in the episode “The Dinner Party.” She told Rolling Stone, she had to pretend to be bad at it.

“I’m a dancer, but I really tried to just dance a tiny bit off the beat,” she said. “It was so much fun to just be a little bit wrong.”

We don’t know how she’ll do on DWTS, but something tells us Michael Scott would approve.

Dancing With The Stars Season 30 premieres on ABC on September 20 at 8 p.m. ET.
