Most people understand that celebrities aren’t like you and me. They have more money, more free time, and more chances to make ridiculous demands. However, actress Mila Kunis admitted to having an extremely common vice which many regular people have also experienced.

In Kunis’s case, her compulsion for this pastime got so bad, she was forced to take an extended break from it to kick the habit.

Kunis began her career in Hollywood like so many stars who came before. She started doing commercial work during childhood before being discovered by an agent at 14 and landing the life-changing role of Jackie Burkhart on That 70s Show. She also scored the voiceover role of Meg Griffin on the popular animated series, Family Guy.

Over the years, Kunis translated her talents into several films as well, including the 2008 comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall and critically acclaimed drama Black Swan. She’s been married to former That 70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher since 2015.

With a successful Hollywood career and her hands in so many projects, it’s surprising to find that Kunis had time for anything besides working and sleeping. But she told Jimmy Kimmel she’s an avid gamer who spent all her free moments playing World of Warcraft, Civilization, Mario Party, Settlers of Catan, and Call of Duty.

World of Warcraft took over her life so much she was forced to stop playing.  “Let’s just say, I had to quit the game for good going on a year now,” Kunis told US Weekly.

“I’m really good, I’m a really kick-ass mage,” she explained of her gaming days. “Well, you’re your own person and you can get into a guild. You gotta be in a guild, because you gotta do raids that require 30 or 40 people. But now with the expansion pack, they’re gonna have raids that require only, like, 10 people. So that’ll really make things a lot easier. Oh my God, it’s such a good game. I love it.”

Kunis allegedly switched to less involved games like Call of Duty hoping to quell the urge to play all the time.

Ashton Kutcher is a gamer too

Kunis and Kutcher most likely don’t have as much time for video games anymore now that they have two young children at home. However, the couple shares the same interest in gaming, meaning their quality time could be spent playing games together. Just maybe not World of Warcraft.

In his early 20s, Kutcher played so much Nintendo 64 that it prompted him to create a production company just to stave off the monotony of gaming so often. He’s also an investor in e-sports company Unikrn.

Kunis and Kutcher are in good company when it comes to gaming enthusiasm. Other celebrities including Justin Bieber, Megan Fox, Vin Diesel, Jack Black, and Samuel L. Jackson have expressed their love of video games, too.

Will Kunis’s kids follow in her and Kutcher’s gaming footsteps? We’ll find out soon enough.
