Model Jessica White Says Her Breakup With Nick Cannon Came After Discovering He Was Having a Baby by Another Woman
Mariah Carey may have been the only woman Nick Cannon chose to marry, but Cannon has had many high-profile relationships. The Wild N’ Out host was once romantically linked to Jessica White. The model hinted at a reunion between the two over the summer in an Instagram post but it was short-lived. According to White, things went south when she discovered Cannon was expecting a child with another woman.
Jessica White rekindles a relationship with Nick Cannon but split weeks after an Instagram tribute
Cannon and White were linked amid his split from Mariah Carey. They kept their relationship public, with a source telling E! News in 2015 that the decision was “out of respect for Nick’s family since the divorce is not final.”
Still, White was reportedly “smitten” with Cannon. “Jessica really accepts all that he is and really admires him through this hard time that’s going on with his family. She also loves how involved he always wants to be with his kids,” the source told E! News. “She hopes one day to have children of her own. They are taking things slow and really getting to know each other at this time.”
Within a year, the couple split and Cannon addressed such in a rap song. But a June 2015 Instagram post from White, that’s since been deleted, hinted to the couple’s reunion.
“Always been the love of my life always will be. REAL love can never be broken. You are me and I am you for eternity. @nickcannon you are a king always remember that s**t,” she captioned a black and white photo of her – with Cannon topless with Cannon holding her close to him.
Simultaneously, the mother of Cannon’s son, Brittany Bell, announced that she was pregnant with Cannon’s child.
Jessica White says she discovered Nick Cannon was expecting a child on social media
During a recent interview with Hollywood Unlocked, White opened up about her and Cannon’s relationship. Per White, the two were in a committed relationship for six years.
“We just had unconditional love for each other and we were friends. You know, when you have a really close friendship with a person, you just know each other,” White said.
She claims she was aware of Bell and that Bell was also aware of her fertility issues. White previously explained that she had a miscarriage with Cannon during their relationship. Bell has two children with Cannon, one of which White says she became aware of just weeks after suffering her own miscarriage.

“[Brittany] was aware that I had just had a miscarriage,” White alleges. “Two weeks prior to her news ’cause I had told her and I was living at [Nick’s] house. She knew that, as well. But I found out on Instagram along with the rest of the world.”
White says she became emotional due to the public’s perception that she was a homewrecker following Bell’s pregnancy announcement. Despite such, she says she and Cannon tried working through their issues but a trip back to her hometown is what triggered the split.
“We were actually still trying to work things out. He was with me for my birthday, like, it wasn’t until I went home to New Orleans to visit family where I had to ask myself some heavy-duty questions,” she said.
Regardless of the heartbreak, White explains that Cannon promises to publicly defend her honor, though he has yet to do so.
