Marvel’s Moon Knight Episode 1 on Disney+ already set the Oscar Isaac hero apart from every other superhero in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While fans wait for when Moon Knight Episode 2 comes out, they cannot help but imagine what comes next for Moon Knight, Marc Spector, and Steven Grant. However, while episode 1 focused on the Steven Grant persona, new episodes of Moon Knight could follow other personalities exclusively.

Episode 1 recap: the Steven Grant side of the story

In the first episode of the Moon Knight TV series, fans followed only one personality of the hero, Steven Grant. He deals with dissociative identity disorder (DID), and his mind is split between several personalities, including mercenary Marc Spector and Moon Knight.

However, since Steven does not remember anything Marc or Moon Knight does, the first episode seems choppy as viewers feel just as confused as Steven.

Suddenly, he’s face to face with Egyptian god Ammut cult leader Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke). He finds a phone with dozens of missed calls from Layla (May Calamwy). Nothing makes sense to him.

However, this was intentional on Marvel’s part. Entrenching the viewers in the same confusion that Steven Grant feels could provide a very unique plot to Moon Knight Episode 2.

‘Moon Knight’ Episode 2 predictions: Marc Spector takes control to tell the Moon Knight origin story

Unlike most shows, Moon Knight Episode 1 seems to skip the superhero origin story altogether. However, Marvel left so many gaps and questions. When Moon Knight Episode 2 comes out, fans could see the vigilante’s origin story

This means that Moon Knight Episode 2 could follow the exact same timeframe as episode 1, but told through the personality of Marc Spector.

When Steven Grant wakes up like Spider-Man (far from home), he hears a voice in his head. While he has no idea who it is, Marvel Comics fans knew it was the Egyptian god Khonshu.

In Marvel Comics, Marc Spector suffers a severe injury from Moon Knight villain Raul Bushman, who leaves him for dead. Marc strikes a deal with Khonshu who saves his life on the exception that he becomes the god’s avatar.

Fans could see the pyramids from the Moon Knight trailers, and the missions Marc Spector goes on.

The Disney+ show has already shown that it will be unlike any Marvel show that came before. And new Moon Knight episodes could continue the wild trend.

Could chapters beyond ‘Moon Knight’ Episode 2 focus exclusively on the different personalities?

While it seems like Oscar Isaac already has a tall order playing Marc Spector, Steven Grant, and Moon Knight, the hero has even more personalities.

Marvel has already teased the dapper Mr. Knight persona. A longtime Moon Knight character, Bertrand Crawley, appeared in episode 1, and he has close ties to the persona Jake Lockley, who has only been indirectly teased so far.

If Moon Knight Episode 2 focuses exclusively on the Marc Spector personality, future episodes could follow suit. Even Arthur Harrow has a hard time keeping everything straight.

Longtime Marvel Comics fans have already claimed they would lose their minds if the Jake Lockley persona makes an appearance. Imagine their reactions if Marvel dropped a whole episode devoted to him.
