Karen Gillan acted in multiple movies and television shows

This Scottish actress might be best known for her role in Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame. However, she acted in multiple movies and television shows. Karen Gillan appeared Amy Pond as in the television series, Doctor Who. In 2017, she acted in the film Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle as Martha. During one interview, however, the actress explained her love for Nebula.

“I just love this character so much. I’ve been obsessed with her from the beginning because she’s such a complex creature but also represents a lot of human behavioral stuff that we can all relate to. I’m just so pleased that people are connecting with her,” Karen Gillan said during an interview with the Los Angeles Times. “James Gunn created this character with these really clear motivations for being the way that she was, so it was easy to perceive her as a villain. But then to look at her reasons behind that, you understand her and have more empathy towards her — and then she’s not so much of a villain anymore.”

What’s next for the ‘Guardians of The Galaxy?’

Thanks to San Diego Comic-Con, the D23 Expo, and an extended clip from Avengers: Endgame, fans learned more about the Guardians of The Galaxy. There is a third movie in the works. However, the film will most likely not premiere for a few years, as sequels to Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Guardians of the Galaxy all appear in Marvel’s fifth phase.

From the extended Avengers: Endgame clip, however, fans learned a little more about one character from the ragtag group of heroes — Gamora. As Tony Stark dies, and each Avenger stand around Iron Man. During that time, fans saw Gamora walking off on her own. Since this is the Gamora from 2014, she has no memory of Peter Quill, Rocket, Groot, and the rest of the Guardians. However, a few new characters, including Nebula and Thor, join the crew on their ship. Will the Guardians’ next adventure involve finding Nebula’s sister? Fans will just have to wait to find out.

Avengers: Endgame is available for purchase digitally and on Blu-ray. Marvel movies, including Guardians of the Galaxy, will presumably be available for streaming on Disney’s upcoming streaming platform. Disney Plus launches on Nov. 12, 2019.
