While many celebrities have been doing their best to try and convince fans to wear masks and take other measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, Joe Rogan has been doing the opposite. The comedian and podcaster doesn’t seem to take the virus seriously, and pushes the misinformed narrative that it’s not as dangerous as folks think. He’s even said wearing a mask is for “b*tches.” Now, Rogan is attempting to point to Donald Trump’s COVID-19 recovery as an example of why the virus isn’t that dangerous, and fans just aren’t having it.

Joe Rogan thinks wearing a mask is for ‘b*tches’

While most of the nation has grown accustomed to the simple habit of wearing a mask in public, Joe Rogan can’t be bothered. In fact, the comedian has claimed that wearing a mask is for “b*tches.”

During an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience guest-starring Bill Burr, the podcaster discussed coronavirus and mask policy.

“I don’t want to start this bullsh*t. I’m not going to sit here with no medical degree, listening to you with no medical degree, with an American flag behind you, smoking a cigar, acting like we know what’s up better than the CDC. All I do is I watch the news once every two weeks. I’m like ‘Mask or no mask? Still mask? Alright, masks.’ That’s all I give a f**k about.” shot back Burr.

“It’s for b*tches,” said Rogan.

Oh God you’re so tough with your f*cking open nose and throat. Gee Joe, and your five o’clock shadow. This is a man right here! A man doesn’t wear a mask! Why does it always become like that, it always becomes the man versus the b*tch,” replied Burr.

Despite the dressing down he received from Bill Burr, Joe Rogan has continued to stick to his personal belief that COVID-19 isn’t as big a deal as the rest of the medically educated world knows it is.

In an attempt at pushing his personal narrative, Rogan pointed to Donald Trump’s recovery as an example of the virus not being that dangerous.

“It’s not based on reality,” said Rogan of the government and medica world’s attempts to get people to curtail the spread of the virus. “It’s not wise, it’s not healthy.”

“Trump’s 74, and he’s fat and he kicked it in four days. I don’t give a f*ck what anybody says,” he added.

“What did they give that guy? They gave him everything. He’s the president of the United States,” pointed out his guest, Tom Papa.

“But it works, they have a thing! If you give them everything it works!  … Go to Cedars-Sinai they’ll hook you up with whatever he’s got,” added Rogan.

Fans took Joe Rogan’s comments as proof that the comedian and podcaster is more out of touch with reality than ever before.

“Yup. Everyone can just go to Cedars-Sinai. Easy Peasy. Joe has no regard for 99% of the country. This has now become a podcast for rich, self-absorbed a**holes,” wrote one Redditor

“He’s acting like everyone could be admitted to Cedars-Sinai. He’s acting like just because they can treat the president of the United States of a deadly virus, that it can be a common thing for everyone else and that we should all calm down and relax,” pointed out another commenter.

“‘Just go out and buy a $100,000 drug cocktail featuring stem cells!’ is Joe’s actual views on being diagnosed positive for COVID transmission,” added another user.
