[Spoiler alert: The Bachelorette Season 16.] Bachelor Nation fans have been buzzing ever since Tayshia Adams reportedly replaced Clare Crawley as The Bachelorette lead. The alleged switch-up already has viewers calling the new cycle the most dramatic season ever. But ABC has yet to confirm the news. Meanwhile, The Bachelorette Season 16 promos continue to feature Crawley with no hints about Adams taking over as the headliner. Now, many fans are wondering whether Adams will even receive a promo ahead of the premiere date.

In early August 2020, rumors swirled around Adams and Crawley two weeks into filming The Bachelorette Season 16. Then multiple publications revealed Adams will replace Crawley as the 2020 lead. The Sacramento hairstylist allegedly fell in love with one of her contestants, Dale Moss. But both women will still be featured in the new season.

“The producers have told her that the season will still lead with Clare and her short-lived journey, and will show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors,” a source told E! News. “Clare will then conclude her journey and announce that Tayshia is the lead.”

Then People shared Adams was ready to embark on her new journey. Though it seems the new bachelorette will not receive an entirely new roster of potential suitors.

“Tayshia was game and ready to go,” a source told the publication. “What remains to be seen is if more men will be brought in now to give Tayshia a full roster of suitors.”

ABC releases a new extended promo for ‘The Bachelorette’

As The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever! continues to air its 10-episode run on ABC, the network has been releasing ominous promos for The Bachelorette Season 16. All the mini trailers highlight Crawley as the leading role. Meanwhile, Adams is notably missing.

Then on Aug. 18, The Bachelorette released an extended promo trailer for the new season. But once again, Adams is absent and Crawley takes center stage. In the 15-second clip, Crawley is showered by roses as Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” plays softly in the background.

“What you want, baby we’ve got it,” the caption on Instagram and Twitter reads. “#TheBachelorette is coming to Tuesdays on ABC.”

‘The Bachelorette’ fans wonder why Tayshia Adams hasn’t received a promo

When The Bachelorette dropped the promos on social media, the response was split. Half the fans flooded the comments about the new season’s premiere date. The teasers confirm the show will return on Tuesday nights. But ABC has yet to announce a premiere date.

Meanwhile, other Bachelorette viewers wondered why the network hasn’t mentioned Adams in any of the trailers.

“So all promos will only show Clare and not Tayshia???” a fan wrote on Instagram.

“Why are we not showing a tayshia trailer,” another fan wrote. “Like we know it’s happening.”

Then some Bachelor Nation fans expressed their disappointment, noting ABC’s decision is robbing Adams of all the pre-season excitement.

“I really wish Tayshia would get promos, too, and the pre-season recognition that goes along with being Bachelorette,” a fan wrote on Reddit

“I’m getting frustrated that it’s looking like Tayshia will not get any promos or official ABC press before the season starts,” another fan wrote. “That sucks.”

As The Bachelorette Season 16 premiere date approaches, fans are growing increasingly wary of the show’s treatment of Adams. Many viewers have wanted the BIP alum as the leading role since she first appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor. And like Crawley, Adams deserves to be celebrated.
