When Grey’s Anatomy returns, Teddy hallucinates visions of Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti), who died recently. She insists that everything is her fault and tries to convince DeLuca that he could come back. Meanwhile, Owen and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) talk about Teddy’s health.
“She hasn’t spoken,” Owen says in the promo trailer. “She hasn’t eaten. If something doesn’t change soon, I’m going to have to get her admitted.”
Although Owen is taking care of Teddy, he is still furious at her for cheating on him and lying to him about their daughter’s name. Amelia pleads with Owen to forgive her.
“The only time I’ve ever seen that kind of look, it’s in soldiers,” Owen adds. “And plenty of them never came back.”

In Grey’s Anatomy, Season 7 Episode 2, Cristina Yang fell to the floor during an operation. Someone bumped a tray of tools onto the floor, and it sounded like a gunshot to Yang. She immediately had flashbacks of the shooter in the hospital. Fans can’t help but point out how similar the two storylines are.

In the next episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Owen takes care of Teddy as he did with Cristina so many years ago. Many fans wonder if Teddy will live or if something more tragic will happen. Cristina quit the program at the hospital after her breakdown in the OR. It took her many episodes to recover.
“Suicide and depression are things that a lot of healthcare workers are dealing with,” another viewer added. “This season was explicitly to air those problems for the healthcare workers. I’m glad they’re dealing with this. They’ve never had this kind of storyline.”
While some fans are happy to see Grey’s Anatomy touching on real-life events, others are worried that Teddy will not pull through. The next episode of Grey’s Anatomy airs on March 25 at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
