Nicole Scherzinger Worried More Will Come After Intimate Video Leaked
Being in the limelight all the time can definitely have its drawbacks. No matter how much you let people in, they always want more.
Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger found that out the hard way when someone leaked an intimate video of her and her ex-boyfriend racecar driver Lewis Hamilton over the weekend.
On Saturday night, a video of the two in bed leaked and has already been viewed over 500,000 times.
Now, Scherzinger is reportedly worried that this is just the beginning.
“Nicole wants it down,” a source said to The Sun. “It’s hugely embarrassing and distressing for her to have something this intimate and private out there. Nicole’s very worried that more videos and pictures will be leaked in the next couple of days.”
The singer is reportedly shocked that someone would release such a video.
“She feels hugely violated that someone’s been looking through her private pictures and is concerned this is just the start of a nightmare. She’s particularly worried as she deleted that video a long time ago, so it must have been hacked from the Cloud,” the source continued.
The singer and Formula 1 driver dated on and off for eight years before finally splitting in 2015. Their relationship was often very up and down and the two broke up several times. They never revealed what the ultimate reason for the final split was, but many sources have said that Hamilton never put Scherzinger first in their relationship.
Other Stars Getting Hacked
Scherzinger isn’t the first celebrity to fall victim to hackings. In 2014, a number of stars had their intimate photos leaked.
Jennifer Lawrence was one of the celebrities.
“When the hacking thing happened – it was so unbelievably violating that you can’t even put into words. I think that I am still actually processing,” Lawrence said on The Hollywood Reporter Awards Chatter
“I feel like I got gangbanged by the f****** planet,” she continued. “There was not one person in the world that is not capable of seeing these intimate photos of me.”
Over 30 celebrities have been targeted in iCloud hackings. Even athletes who typically stay out of the spotlight like Lindsey Vonn weren’t safe.
Vonn released a statement addressing the matter.
“Lindsey will take all necessary and appropriate legal action to protect and enforce her rights and interests,” the statement that was released to Variety read. “She believes the individuals responsible for hacking her private photos as well as the websites that encourage this detestable conduct should be prosecuted to the fullest extent under the law.”
Some celebrities have managed to avoid having their images and videos leaked, whether that be by paying the ransom or finding lawyers to stop the content from ever seeing the light of day.
The OC actress Mischa Barton was one of the lucky few who
There has been no word on how Scherzinger’s video got released or who is responsible. Reps for both Scherzinger and Hamilton have declined several outlets’ requests for comments.
