Since her exit from Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, many fans have been wondering what Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi will do next. Fortunately for her Jersey Shore roommates and fans alike, “Snooki” will return to MTV in more ways than one.

Polizzi recently announced her return to Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 4B. But she’s also working on another MTV series — Messyness. Find out what the Ridiculousness spinoff is all about.

‘Ridiculousness’ already has a spinoff show about food

Rob Dyrdek is an MTV legend. His long-running MTV career began in 2006 with Rob & Big. The reality show followed Dyrdek and his bodyguard, the late Christopher “Big Black” Boykin.

Today Dyrdek is known best for hosting Ridiculousness, a show that examines fail videos from the internet. Dyrdek’s show also stars Chanel West Coast and Sterling “Steelo” Brim.

Thanks to the success of Ridiculousness, MTV created a spinoff series that focuses on food called DeliciousnessHosted by Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen and featuring Angela Kinsey, Kel Mitchell, and Tim Chantarangsu, Deliciousness looks at some of the most viral videos involving food and drink.

Now, it looks like Dyrdek is cooking up another Ridculousness spinoff series. This time, Jersey Shore royalty “Snooki” is involved.

‘Snooki’ will host another ‘Ridiculousness’ spinoff

“Snooki” recently shared exciting news with fans on her podcast, It’s Happening with Snooki & Joey. “MTV messaged me and [said], ‘We’re going to announce your new show at the upfronts today,” Polizzi said. “Upfronts are basically what’s coming out on MTV this year.”

Polizzi says the spinoff series she will host will release later this year. “You guys, get ready,” Polizzi teased. “I’m hosting Messyness!”

“This is the show that Joey tried out for and he didn’t get it,” the reality star added. Polizzi’s dear friend and podcast cohost, Joey Camasta, auditioned to be part of the couch crew that will dissect the videos featured in Messyness.

But to Polizzi’s point, if he were on the show, they would probably only interact with each other the whole time. Camasta will still be involved with Messyness behind the scenes, doing Polizzi’s hair and makeup for the show.

Outside of ‘Jersey Shore,’ ‘Snooki’ always wanted to host

Polizzi is excited to be back with her roommates on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. But she’s equally excited to be following her passions.

“I’m really excited — this is the first time I’m hosting by myself,” Polizzi said on the podcast. She and Jenni “JWoww” Farley hosted the Floribama Shore reunion special together (the second half will air this week). She also previously hosted How Far Is Tattoo Far? with Nico Tortorella.

“This is always what I wanted to do,” Polizzi said during the podcast. “We start shooting [Messyness] in three weeks in LA. Everything is coming forward — everything that I manifested because I always wanted to be a talk show host and eventually Oprah.”

Polizzi hopes the show ends up being as successful as Ridiculousness. “I know everyone’s like, ‘Oh my God, change the channel, why do you keep having Ridiculousness on?'” Polizzi admitted. “But what if I could do Messyness for a million seasons?”

What is Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi’s new show ‘Messyness’ about?

According to Camasta, the show will feature clips of videos “you see all over TikTok — these girls drunk falling down; it’s going to be animals — all different things.”

“It’ll be kind of like Ridiculousness but focused around being messy and a hot mess,” Camasta added. Like Deliciousness and Ridiculousness, there will be a panel of three people who will make commentary about the videos showcased.

Polizzi mentioned wanting bar on set, considering the show’s subject. We’ll see if that happens!
