Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi has several tattoos

Since fans first met her on the original Jersey Shore, Polizzi has had tattoos. “I don’t know how many I have, but I know they’re all meaningful to me,” Polizzi says in a YouTube video. “I don’t regret any of them.”

To date, “Snooki” has various tattoos that fans know of, including:

  • Roman numerals on her wrist.
  • A rosary and a rose tattooed on her shoulder blade.
  • Stars amidst swirls on her arms and shoulder blades — some stars feature colored shading, others feature zebra stripes and cheetah spots.
  • A leopard sporting a crown and wings on her upper arm.
  • A bow with a jeweled crown.
  • A Celtic symbol of motherhood and the word “love” on her arm.
  • Wings and the name “Polizzi” on her lower back (Polizzi’s first tattoo ever).
  • A tattoo of a squirrel holding a heart.

‘Snooki’s wrist tattoo is for her kids

The Roman numerals inked on Polizzi’s wrist symbolize her two children — Lorenzo and Giovanna. “I always see moms with initials of their kids on their wrist, so I wanted to do that,” Polizzi said in her August 2018 video.

At the time, Polizzi had plans to have two more children and left room for their initials. Now, she currently has a third child, Angelo. It’s unclear if Polizzi has gotten a tattoo of his initial yet.

Nicole Polizzi got her star tattoos while she was ‘drunk in Vegas’

Polizzi explains all of her tattoos in her YouTube video. According to the Jersey Shore star, she got half of her tattoos when she was drunk. Still, she’s happy with the art she put on her body.

Per Polizzi, the stars on her shoulders were done by a tattoo artist in Las Vegas. “It was for someone’s bachelorette party,” Polizzi explained. She says she was glad she was drunk so she didn’t have to feel “the pain of it.”

“It’s kind of like a galaxy of animal print stars,” she adds. “I love them.”

‘Snooki’s first arm tattoo was the bow with a crown

The first tattoo Polizzi ever got was the bow and crown tattoo on her upper arm. “This is my crown,” she explains. “It was way before the kids. Jersey Shore was in it’s second season and I felt so cool.”

Polizzi says the crown symbolizes her status as a reality star. The bow also captures Polizzi’s love of Hello Kitty. Ironically, reality star Tila Tequila inspired this tattoo for “Snooki.”

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi’s squirrel tattoo also represents her children

After Polizzi’s son Lorenzo and daughter Giovanna were born, she got the squirrel tattoo on her arm. “I call my kids squirrels,” she admits in her video.

Looking at the tattoo reminds Polizzi of her kids. But it also reminds her of her love for the tiny furry creatures.

‘Snooki’s leopard tattoo symbolizes her fierceness

Polizzi has a tattoo of a winged leopard wearing a crown, which is symbolic of how she views herself. “I got my leopard because I’m a fierce b*tch,” Polizzi says. “I’ve always thought of myself as a boss b*tch. I’m as strong as a leopard.”

Nicole Polizzi’s Celtic motherhood tattoo

Polizzi says her Celtic motherhood tattoo — or her “mommy tattoo,” as it were — was another drunken Las Vegas decision. She wanted something to symbolize her status as a mother and hopes to make it more detailed in the future.

Jionni LaValle wants his wife to change the first tattoo she ever got

As Polizzi explains in her video, the first tattoo she ever got is a “tramp stamp.” The angel wings with “Polizzi” is located on her lower back. But her husband wants her to change it.

“Jionni wants me to change it — he says, ‘You’re not a Polizzi anymore, you’re a LaValle,'” Polizzi said. But for her, the tattoo is symbolic of her grandfather, who died when she was 10-years-old.

Like the angel wings, the rose and rosary beads Polizzi has tattooed on her shoulder are for her grandparents. She got it at the same tattoo parlor she got her first tattoo in Marlboro, New Jersey.
