Nintendo revealed that the Nintendo Direct Mini will showcase “info on upcoming third-party Nintendo Switch games.” Unfortunately, that means fans shouldn’t expect any news on the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, or any Mario titles. But, on the bright side, there could still be some exciting announcements.

For now, it’s unclear exactly what Nintendo has planned. However, VGC reported earlier this week that journalist Nacho Requena of the Spanish video game magazine Manual had some information about the Direct. As Requena shared in a Twitch stream, the video will allegedly feature “some Persona game.” Plus, “another game that has been available for some time on other platforms … It’s been available for four years now.”

That last detail was pretty vague. However, VGC predicted the “4-year-old port” could be Red Dead Redemption 2, which originally came out in 2018. Some other predictions for the Nintendo Direct Mini that have circulated on social media include Mario & Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, a Final Fantasy game, Slime Rancher, and No Man’s Sky.

Will’ Xenoblade Chronicles 3′ be included in the Nintendo Direct Mini?

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 would fit into the “third-party title” description, so it’s a possibility for the Nintendo Direct Mini June 2022. However, Nintendo seems unlikely to include any updates on the game, since the publisher just hosted a Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Direct last week. The video went over the game’s characters, battle system, an expansion pass, and more.
