‘Now, We Are Breaking Up’ conveys various feelings of love

The K-drama is set to debut in Nov. and will focus on the main couple and additional supporting characters. Fans can expect a commonly used trope of two polar opposite love interests who fall in love. Young-Eun is the leader of a design team for a fashion company and known for being cold-hearted yet realistic.

She crosses paths with a rich and handsome freelance photographer, Yoon Jae-Kook (Jang). According to Soompi, the drama also includes actors Choi Hee-Seo and Kim Joo-Heon. At a table read in April, Choi embodied her character, Hwang Chi-Sook. Chi-Sook is the director of the fashion label and exudes confidence. In reality, she hides her loneliness.

Kim captivated the table read with his mature and manly character as PR company CEO Seok Do-Hoon. Now, We Are Breaking Up also includes a ‘second lead’ romance between the characters.

New K-drama stills reveal a heartstopping romance

According to Soompi, SBS gave fans their first look at Now, We Are Breaking Up. The K-drama’s set stills depict Young-Eun and Jae-Guk in the same scenario and position but under different contexts. The first still shows the two characters caught in ‘love at first sight.’ Jae-Guk looks at Young-Eun with a haertwamring gaze as Youg-Eun looks flsutered and in awe.

What makes the still so impactful is its whimsical effect. As the two characters gaze at each other, the background and the people around them blur out of focus. The second still is the same type of scenario but it takes place in the pouring rain. Jae-Guk holds out an umbrella to shield Young-Eun from the rain as he stares at her with a loving stare.

Fans can expect a K-drama that chronicles the impactful moments of going into a new relationship. But the drama will also showcase the trails a couple can go through that might even lead to a break-up.
