Bob Saget was buried on Jan. 14 after being discovered dead in his hotel room after a stand-up comedy show on Jan. 9. His famous friends like John Mayer, John Stamos, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, and more were in attendance to celebrate Saget's life and mourn his death.

More than 100 celebrities attended Bob Saget’s funeral after the Full House actor died at age 65. John Mayer, John Stamos, Kathy Griffin, Chris Rock, Jimmy Kimmel, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were among the attendees. Here are all the details we know so far about the funeral.

Bob Saget was buried at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Forest Lawn Cemetery on Jan. 14 after the comedian was found dead in his Orlando hotel room on Jan. 9. 

His family, including wife Kelly Rizzo and his three children, gathered with a number of famous friends to celebrate Saget’s life and honor his death. 

Page Six reported that John Mayer, John Stamos, Dace Coulier, Jeff Ross, Jonathan Silverman, Mike Young, Ted Sarandos, and Steve Hale were among Saget’s pallbearers. 

Some of Saget’s fellow comedians attended the funeral, including Jimmy Kimmel, Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Kathy Griffin

His former Full House co-stars Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Lori Loughlin, and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were also in attendance. 

Bob Saget’s ‘Full House’ castmates have been grieving his death on social media

The comedian’s fellow Full House alums have been grieving Saget’s death on social media. 

On the day of the funeral, John Stamos tweeted, “Today will be the hardest day of my life.” He continued, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

The day before Saget’s funeral, Dave Coulier tweeted, “I met Bob when I was 18 years old. I didn’t know then that two, struggling standup comics would end up being brothers forever. I wish I could lean on you right now through all these tears. I love you.

And on Jan. 10, Candace Cameron Bure tweeted, “I love you sooooo much. I don’t want to say goodbye [broken heart emoji]. 35 years wasn’t long enough.”

The comedian’s cause of death is still under investigation after his funeral

Bob Saget’s cause of death is still under investigation. The actor was discovered dead in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida on Jan. 9. His autopsy is complete, but the cause of death remains unknown.

“The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete,” Orange and Osceola Counties’ chief medical examiner Joshua Stephany shared with Yahoo.

All evidence so far indicates that the actor died peacefully in his sleep after performing a two-hour-long stand-up show. Saget posted a message on Instagram celebrating the show just hours before he died. 

“Okay, I loved tonight’s show @pontevedra_concerthall in Jacksonville. Really nice audience. Lots of positivity,” Saget captioned a photo of himself smiling into the camera with a stage and a guitar behind him. “Happened last night in Orlando last night at the Hard Rock Live too. Very appreciative and fun audiences.”

After thanking his opening act, the comedian shared, “I had no idea I did a two hour set tonight. I’m back in comedy like I was when I was 26. I guess I’m finding my new voice and loving every moment of it.”

He closed out the joyful caption with, “Goin’ everywhere until I get the special shot. And then probably keep going cause I’m addicted to this s***. Peace out. ✌️”
