‘P-Valley’ Shares New Character Image for Season 2
When the doors to The Pynk open back up, P-Valley fans will finally be reunited with Autumn Night, Mercedes, and glamorous boss Uncle Clifford. But there are also new faces at the club. Check out the new dancers in P-Valley Season 2 here.
New blood ‘shakes up the locker room’ in ‘P-Valley’ Season 2
P-Valley will return to Starz in June after a wait of almost two years, caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The synopsis teases what viewers can expect when the show is back on our TV screens.
“When darkness descends upon Chucalissa, errybody and they mama must fight tooth and talon to survive,” the description reads, per Entertainment Weekly. “While some take flight to perilous new heights, others dig in their stilettos and stand their ground no matter the cost. Back at The Pynk, Autumn and Uncle Clifford grapple for the throne as new blood shakes up the locker room. Meanwhile, with the casino’s fate hanging in the balance, the local political machine kicks into overdrive. In these unprecedented times, death and danger lurk around every corner.”
The new dancers at The Pynk revealed
There are at least two dancers joining The Pynk for P-Valley Season 2. Snowfall star Gail Bean will reportedly play Roulette, described by Shadow and Act as “a feisty wild child who truly lives up to her name—she’s taking major risks and breaking allllll of Uncle Clifford’s rules. Like fire, she’s dangerous, unpredictable, and uncontrollable—but dazzling to watch. On and off the pole, she’s turning The Pynk upside down.”
Psalms Salazar’s Whisper is like the opposite of Roulette as “an enigmatic free spirit with a spooky streak who speaks in riddles and eerie truths. She’s blessed with a direct line to the universe and sight beyond the earthly realm. The air to Roulette’s fire, Whisper becomes a full-blown tornado when she hits the pole.”
“Who betta to learn from than the OGs? Look[s] like the Pynk gettin’ some new blood 👀,” read a tweet from the P-Valley Twitter page, which included a photo of Roulette and Whisper with dancers Mercedes and Keyshawn. Check it out:
‘P-Valley’ Season 2 to resolve that cliffhanger and more
In the show’s latest episode, chaos broke out at the club when shots went off. Montavius seemed to get hit, but it’s unclear whether he survived.
“I can only say that the secret of what went down in the Paradise Room will bond Uncle Clifford, Mercedes, and Hailey forever,” show creator Katori Hall told Entertainment Weekly. “It remains to be seen if the Delta Devoted will come looking for Montavius in season 2.”
In addition to that, viewers will also get to see what happens with Keyshawn and Diamond, Lil Murda and Uncle Clifford, and more.
