Paris Hilton isn’t a stranger to the spotlight, so when a well-known (but anonymous) artist started depicting her in their artwork, fans weren’t very shocked. In fact, they were amused and impressed by the artist’s depictions of the TV personality star.

Even the “Turn It Up” singer loved what she saw. In an interview, she even admits she’s on the lookout for a copy to purchase and was so flattered to be a part of Banksy’s art.

Hilton is best known for being the OG of reality TV with her BFF Nicole Richie in The Simple Life and being the trust-fund IT girl who always knows where the hottest parties are. Despite this widespread perception of her, the House of Wax star is actually a successful entrepreneur

First, she created Paris Hilton Entertainment in 2006, a business with 45 stores, and has become a multi-billion dollar company. She has also dabbled in making music with Young Money Cash Money Billionaires, a line of Hotel vacation spots like her father and grandfather before her, DJ’d for the hottest parties, and gotten millions of dollars for her fragrance lines.

Who is Banksy?

Banksy is an anonymous British graffiti artist who typically displays his incredible art in public spaces and reveals it on his social media. His work was a mix of installation pieces, paintings, and drawings.

People have their guesses as to who Banksy really is, but to this day, no one really knows the artist behind the incredible artwork that has popped up around the UK and other places since the early ’90s.

In a 2015 mural that popped up in the English Town of Kidderminster, Banksy featured Hilton promoting ‘DISMALAND’ alongside her trademark dog Tinkerbell — giving her wings since she passed just a year earlier. This came after almost a decade after altering her new albums.

HypeBeast reported that it was part of Banksy’s ongoing Dismaland theme park installment and that the store owner Rob Bishop said, “about five or six people there who sprayed the wall white first and then each one did an individual bit. It looked like they were painting from a picture as someone was holding a piece of paper up that they were looking at.”

When Is Paris Hilton Getting Married?

In an interview with Sean Evans on First We Feast, Hilton answered questions while trying not to cry from eating hot wings. When Hot Ones host Evans asked her how she felt about Banksy doctoring her new album sleeve, putting in new song titles, and adding new music from DJ Danger Mouse. The successful businesswoman praised his work and admitted she really wants to buy one.

“I thought it was sick. I love Banksy. I think he is such a G. I love his art. He’s like an icon, and when I saw that happened, I thought that was pretty cool that, you know, he would’ve thought to even get my new album and do something like that,” Hilton said in admiration. “And I’ve always been someone who could laugh at myself, so even when people would make fun of me before, I knew they weren’t making fun of me — who I really am. They were making fun of the character that I was playing. I was actually flattered. I thought it was very cool, and I’ve actually been looking to buy one.”

The ‘That’s Hot’ guest star added: “They’re like limited edition and I heard they’re going for a lot of money, so I don’t know. I’ve been looking for the auction so if you see any, let me know because I wanna buy one.”

What was once considered vandalism has since become highly sought-after art pieces. Paris Hilton is only one of numerous Banksy enthusiasts interested in her doctored albums and other famous works. Despite how fast and how much his art sells for, you might be surprised to find out that Banksy doesn’t actually approve of the sale of his art to Hilton or anyone.
