Patrick Mahomes Makes Plans With Justin Timberlake as Brittany Matthews Continues to Show Off Baby Sterling
Patrick Mahomes is enjoying life in the offseason with his fiancé Brittany Matthews and their new daughter, Sterling Skye. Ahead of NFL training camp, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is also enjoying some golf in Lake Tahoe with his teammate Travis Kelce and pop superstar Justin Timberlake.

NFL training camp is just around the corner, and Mahomes is enjoying some downtime with teammates and friends before he goes back to work. The QB recently participated in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, where he teamed up with Kelce and Timberlake.
Timberlake shot a 25 through three rounds, which put him in a tie for 30th place with Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr and Fox News anchor Bret Baier. Mahomes shot 15 through three rounds, which put him in a tie for 50th place with Notre Dame head football coach Brian Kelly.
The Chiefs quarterback asked to team up with Justin Timberlake
On the last day of the celebrity golf tournament, Timberlake paused for an interview with NBC sports. With Mahomes by his side, the SexyBack singer revealed that he is close to finishing his new record, which is “about 80 percent done.”
Upon hearing this news, Mahomes chimed in and asked if he could get a feature. Timberlake was on board with the idea, saying “let’s go.” It may have been a joke. But if Mahomes does appear on the record, the singer can pretty much guarantee strong sales numbers from the Kansas City metro area.

Mahomes didn’t travel to Lake Tahoe alone for his celebrity golf weekend. He brought along Matthews and their 5-month-old daughter Sterling for the occasion. The trio posed for a cute family portrait on the golf course, which both Matthews and Mahomes posted on Instagram.
“Supporting you is one of my favorite things to do, but now supporting you with baby girl in my arms makes it even more special😊💕 #godad,” Matthews wrote in the caption. Mahomes simply wrote, “Family vacation.”
Baby Sterling is becoming an Instagram star
In the pic, Mahomes was decked out in Adidas gear that included a salmon-colored golf polo, a gray cap, and white sneakers. The former pro soccer player sported a navy blue tank top with white short shorts. Baby Sterling stole the show in a navy blue polo, yellow shorts, and a bright red headband with a bow.
Fans were thrilled to see baby Sterling, who is now being featured on both her parents’ Instagram. When the couple welcomed their daughter in February, they posted pics without showing her face. After four months of hiding, Mahomes and Matthews finally introduced their newborn to their fans by posting family pics on June 11.
In their introduction posts they both shared the same family photo. In her caption, Matthews wrote, “Hi, my name is Sterling💕👑.” While Mahomes wrote, “Hello World!”
Patrick Mahomes has had an eventful offseason
Mahomes has had quite the off-season in 2021. In addition to becoming a dad — and possibly being featured on Timberlake’s new album — Mahomes landed the cover of the EA Sports Madden 22 MVP Edition video game alongside Tom Brady.
Mahomes and Brady met back in February in Super Bowl LV. The game ended with a win for Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Chiefs won the previous year in Super Bowl LIV, with the QB taking home the Super Bowl MVP trophy.
Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs kick off the 2021 pre-season on August 14 against the San Francisco 49ers.
